hi all,
m was initially selected for kolkata campus and then moved to delhi campus on 28th may as was merit rank-10 in kolkata.however wud b moving to JBIMS,mumbai and vl withdraw my admission offer tomorrow.ATB to all the people.also vl thank IIFT for such a wonderful experience throughout the admission process

im doing my engg.from jaipur...due 2 d gujjar agitation my final year xams wr postponed nd r nw rescheduled from 27 jun to 4 july...
our reg.process @IIFT is on 1st july...
i wanted 2 know wats d complete processs at the time of registration..nd do i need 2 b present there personally....also i wont b able 2 join d insti. b4 8th july due to a pending xternal practical xam....will i b at a great loss????
please tell me wat shud i do????

i think its a matter the iift ppl would look into with reasonable ease.i would recommend u talk to mr.gaurav gulati or ld mago sir.
if the need arises do send them a written application, and if posbl a letter signed by the director of ur instt/univ would help a lot.

Hi Puys,Somebody please tell if we need to bring the mattresses along or does the hostel administration provides the mattress.Also a humble request: If any of the fellow puys has got his scholar loan processed, it would be of great help if you can bring (to IIFT) the photocopy of your loan agreement. Reason I require is: SBI branch at my place does not offer Scholar loan to IIFT students (nobody tells the reason for such inconsistencies among the branches) but on pursuation they have assured that if I can get them any of the cases where SBI has given scholar loan to IIFT canddate, they would update the College list for Scholar loan at their branch and would extend Scholar loan benefits to my case as well.Rest, as the days are approaching, waiting anxiously to meet you puys :malhari, gvg, arpit, kinshu, chengazee, nurav, get_amazed and the list goes on....Thanks & Regards,Aman.

hello ppl,
someone told me that IIFT-kol campus has/will come out with a new waiting list...maybe coz all students in previous wl have cleared...
i know its mere speculation and i intend not to spread any rumors...
but it would be really great if sm generous soul at iift or any other person who has info please verify it..i just wanted to get it verified to hv peace of mind....

I will be grateful if u tell me whether there is any quota for Delhiites in IIFT full time MBA course.
Being a non-Delhiite I need to clear this doubt.

there is no quota anyhow.and this is a thread for ppl who hv got admission in 2008-10 batch to discuss joining related issues.use the appropriate thread to get answers.

Dude,

chill it is a national institute run by the ministry of commerce. there is no quota whatsoever for Delhiites. Give it your best shot and dont worry about any quotas.
