Just called up Gaurav sir. Got some good news. I have been waitlisted at 1. Hope my case does not end up like ande_ka_funda last year. For all Delhi waitlisters I was at wl 13 on 27th May and now have landed at WL 1. Just need to get over the line now.

Hi gvg... wat was ur first merit rank of the kolkata list?..the merit rank wen result was published on march 11th... Hope you get through,yaar...all the best.

and u can consider urself through .. for as far as i remember Pallavi Sud got thgough MDI after the WL movement.. and she was told by MR. Gaurav Gulati her seat withdrawl woud come into effect only in the next list .. i.e. on 15th june.

I think apart frm Pallavi Sud...there were a couple more.....
Gvg and vindsome both of u should sail through to Delhi
and as far as I remember when the waitlist was being tracked there were quite a few ppl in the IIFT lists which were arnd 300-400 in the MDI waitlist...those might start getting through to MDI now...so few more withdrawals might result bcoz of that.....
Thus,I feel all the ppl in the original kolkata merit list can still hold hopes of getting through Delhi

I just received an offer letter for IIFT kolkata campus today morning(sent on 30th may). Kinda surprised as it was unexpected. I also have a IMT-G(HR) convert. Kindly let me know of your views on PM.

Hi Varun,

Actually you were almost spot on the waitlist movement. the thing is Gaurav told me that they have added more seats in Delhi so thats why the jump. Think around 10 seats or so.

Hey Guys,Finally Im through...comes as a pleasant surprise as I had been WL 8 just few days back and the next list expected on 15'th....Had been a long long wait since the results were out and lots of brainstorming done on the WL movement...For the WL guys...ppl who could withdraw the fees now areRashi...joing SP ....dont think has withdrawn fees..Karan Sud...deciding between MDI and IIFTSabari..joining fms don't think has withdrawn fees..pls confirm with him

Congrats buddy on making it through. Hoping what you have said is true. Praying that I dont end up as WL 1. Are you sure that the names you have quoted have withdrawn recently.
