hey puys
i havent recieved an acknowledgement for the reciept of my fees...though called them up and mr gaurav gulati confirmed that they have recieved my fees.are there still some people who havent recieved the acknowledgement????

Yup, count me in too :-) But I talked to Dr.Mago, and he said that the ack will not be required for anything else in future, so it's ok if u dont receive it. I'm just waiting for the final seat confirmation letter to get rid of that gnawing doubt :-) c'est la vie

But if you are paying the first installment by yourself, you need the ack from the institute to get it reimbursed from the bank when you take the loan - that is in case you are going for one...

Talked to Mr. Gaurav today...Im WL at 14 for delhi (Merit no 30 in Kol)
Pls post here in case you know ppl who have paid up for delhi and might not join.One person who will go to IIM B had already posted here.One person had posted that he might be availing the obc seat(he's currently selected in gen)...Mr Gaurav told that they wont be putting up anything on the website.So can't know the details from there of the ppl who have paid up....

Anybody thought of which laptop to buy? I spoke to dell, they said the issue with getting a dell lappy delivered in calcutta is that the person in whose name the billing is being done will have to go to the sales tax office to get some form 50 (or some other number). I don't think i wanna do that. Any idea of a decently priced config in any other make?
