i too am finding it strange.. i wonder what r we doing so bad that he is groaning at us.. watever it is... its a request to the concerned person... please identify urself... n hey this is an open thread... if u have an issue... discuss it yaar... groaning at each of our posts will not do any good either buddy!!!

have you put down ur papers yet... if u have... then please let me know some quick notes n things to keep in mind while writing the R letter.... I hope u understand my situation.

bas yehi to baat hai dost, ki aapne bhi mera message misinterpret kar liya.
to tension not, smile ke saath bolna, woh bhi miss-(i mean mis)-interpret karenge.

Although i really owe to some of my teahers who brought realisation on the very first day of college. he said "yahan se 4 lakh ki job lagegi, kya karoge sirf engg karke? Kuch aage padho to kuch ho sakta hai.".

well, he was talking about his "gate" coaching, maine mis-interpret kiya, aur iift pahuch gaya.

to arpit, lagta hai kenneth.nornoha ne pj poor joke corner wala thread padh liya hai.
wahan pe jisko joke accha lagta hai,
woh groan karta hai. -------------------------(well its opposite there too, but confusion still prevails.)
lagta hai, hamare bhai kenneth ko yeh pata nahi hai,
ki woh rule sirf wahin apply karta hai.

First of all many congratulations to all those who made it thru to Delhi and Kolkata. Been some time now that I have posted on this thread (been a silent spectator most of the times) but I must say that IIFT thread rocks!! Great interaction, coordination, fun, colors - simply awesome. Thanks to fellow IIFTians - Ankur, get_amazed, gvg, nurav, changeeze, Kinshu, Arpit, Excelsior and many others for providing all the help and information.. and for get_amazed: you have added your own dimension to humour-simply great.

Over the time the curiosity to meet you puys has increased multiple folds -- July is coming...

hey, yup, Im done with my resignation. I've PM'ed u my resignation letter.
Hope it helps.

It really helps if u have a discussion with ur manager before mailing him ur resignation. Give him a heads-up,tell him ur gonna quit,and tell him why.
Then send the mail.

Points that you may try to keep in mind when writing the letter:
1) keep it really nice(There's absolutely no need for any acrimony)
2) Making it sound like ur quitting to pursue ur dream kinda smoothens ruffled feathers, if any.
3)Mention the reason ur leaving. Not really required , but nice to have.
4) Mention what you consider to be ur probable date of leaving the company. Make it a soft date(as they have to give u the final date).

That's it , and ur on ur way.
