dhruv dear,
i bought the laptop bag from palika in delhi for just 450. and the backpack was available for 550. in calcutta you can go to khidderpore market for such prices.
i think a backpack will suit us best. what say/

Hey here's the latest excel sheet...few changes in the sheet though as compared to the previous sheet......so guess will get some idea tomorrow only as to how many ppl have paid the fees....

Yeah.. tats wat, if u spend 1k, u can get a good samsonite one.. the dell bag sucks..

Had just called IIFT to check about my draft receipt...they had just it received 5 min back

.....just asked about the waitlist movement...he said he hasnt counted yet....i asked about the general idea...so Mr. Gaurav said that Delhi almost all are full

....cant rely on this info though..but it gives a general idea....letc

Hey,

There's no cause for alarm just yet(even if Delhi seats are almost full as Mr.Gaurav says). Even if lots of ppl have already given the fees for Delhi, there'll still be a few IIM's/MDI/[SPJain] ppl among them who'll opt out later.
I know of one guy (Gopakumar Pullaikodi) who has gotten thru IIM-K and will be pulling out from IIFT-D.(He's given the fees too). It's a fair bet that there will be more. So I guess we'll see some more movement of the WL once these kind of guys start pulling out of IIFT.

i had a talk with Mr Gaurav Gulati too.. He said.. call up tomorrow after 4:00pm for the WL list.

Also u cant rely on wat he says now cos He is known to give out very conservative figures till he has some confirmed data.. to play safe.. and not get misquoted later..
