FMS (PT) 2008 MBA Interview Preparation

Hi all

I had my interview today & it went cool. No GD's or Extempore's though. They are looking to check your stress levels & comfort in answering the basic questions ( Job Profile, Educational Background, FMS - Why ? , How will you manage work n study etc.. ). It was for about 5 mins to be precise. The panel is very friendly & 'll treat you with utmost delight.

Regarding the NOC / Sponsoring letter, it needs to be submitted latest by 2 days after your interview. I was working in Aricent when i made the application but now I am with Agilent. I disclosed this information to them & they told me submit a fresh NOC from the current employer latest by 23rd.

The only wierd thing i found out is everybody other than me were pretty seniors ( guess I am the only 25 year old ) dressed in tie's n formals . I went incomfortable casuals dont know what impression the faculty was looking forward to.

Hi,

If i were you, i would have called them up and could have clered the doubt.
However if their answer is that you have to submit that at any cost. i would have tried . Still if i couldnt manage to get that doc, i would have gone to attend the interview, The fact that FMS people are exceptionally cooperative, i can assure you that they would help you out in every possible way. So you must go to the venue for interview.

Hi Abhi,

Who asked you to submit fresh NOC? The interviewer or the the persons who were verifying the docs?

The interviewers asked me to submit a fresh NOC. I already submitted the NOC from my previous organization at the time of filling up the form but i told them the truth that i switchedd over so they demanded it. I am trying to arrange it, only one more day to go.. . One more thing, its a good experience to go there & attend the interview so everyone should go.

Interviews will be conducted thru 26th Apr' 08 till EOB. The results are expected within a week or so after that & it'll be displayed on the notice board just outside the FMS.

Abhi,

It means they asked you for fresh NOC only after you told them abt your job change during the interview right? otherwise it was smooth and nobody questioned you about NOC right? Please clear the doubts
Why im interested is because im in the same boat. But i dont wanna submit new NOC now and as fact nobody had asked me so why to do that...

Yes. You are right. You need to fill up a form as soon as you reach there in which they ask you to write the same info that was there in the NOC & sign it. I didnt wanted to submit the wrong information so i told them the truth. Its written there that we can submit the NOC after our selectin also in case of the change of the organization but they wanted me to submit it asap. I had no choice

Well, I have already done with my interview. And it was ok
Why i am worried now is because i have also changd the Org. even my NOC was not good enough at the time of filling up the form but still the verifiers of the Docs allowed me and interviewers didnt ask anything regarding that.
So i wanted to clear that they asked you abt NOC just because you mentioned them abt your job change. Otherwise for others it was OK if i am not wrong
