NMIMS Distance Education MBA !! Is it any worth???

Extremely disappointed from an institute of repute such as NMIMSs!!! After thoroughly researching myself,and after establishing its leadership from the surveys, market reports, alumini and its background, I had selected to go in for management course from NMIMS through distance education over IMT Ghaziabad, Amity, Symbiosis and ICFAI. But here is what I find????
(a) The study material is the same set of booklets that is provided by IGNOU with an additional NMIMS printed on the right. Outright plagiarism is a small word. I feel duped !!! After giving considerably more money than going for direct IGNOU MBA, what I get is IGNOU study material.(IGNOU charges little over Rs 700 per subject for a total of 21 subjects for MBA totalling around 15000. Examination fee and the cost of study material and counselling is included in the fee. Whereas NMIMS takes Rs 35000 for a 2 year PG diploma with lot of things chargeable extra.) No-where does NMIMS website, prospectus etc mention the fact that it is a part of similar fraud being conducted by so many institutions, that it does not have any study material of its own, except may be a few subjects and all that is advertised is to get in more revenue. SAD!!!
(b) In addition , there are no assignments, gradings etc, which make it uniquely different from IGNOU.
(c) At least in Bangalore, as of now, NMIMS does not even have any building to conduct the Personal contact Programme (PCP). Any ,by the way , that also is chargeable,,,By Gosh, PCP from NMIMS with the poor quality of IGNOU material chargeable at Rs 250 per subject!!
(d) On top of that , you get only PG diploma in management, whereas if you do it from IGNOU, you atleast get an MBA recognised from AICTE,DEC,UGC, Commonwealth, All State and Central govt etc. What about Correspondence from NMIMS, I guess you know better.
(e) And one thing about IGNOU study material is well known, it does not change with time. It remains same whether your friend did it in 2004 or you do it now in 2008. The quality of printing and the pages is putrid. And most importantly, all such material are easily available at our friendly raddiwala ( no jokes, seriously). Quality and content of IMT, Symbiosis, ICFAI is still better.
(f) And by the way , NMIMS's previous exam papers on the site are full of spelling, grammar and typing errors. That coming from NMIMS????? Greed for money has taken over one fine educational institute.
(g) And there is no match for the website. IGNOU is far better. NMIMS just does not maintain its site.
(h) And if one thinks, this would have been one stray incident,it is not. NMIMS is quite serious about its distance education management courses. They conduct entrance exam with a fee of Rs 800. All that to go in for IGNOU!!!
(i) And on the no of study centers. NMIMS has hardly any. IMT, symbiosis, IGNOU, ICFAI have several, with added facilities of online and print library, audio-visual aids, etc.
This is just to put facts to the hard working individuals who want to add an additional qualification to further their career.I made the mistake of joining NMIMS. I request that the remaining lot of you at least dont fall prey to them. I am an engineer myself and have been employed for the last 13 years. Details on correspondence are sketchy and intentionally not given in detail. Please do proper research to have better value for your money. hmm... Its an eye opener.

But normally college doesnt pay much attention to Distance Learning programs, but than the way you suffered is really sad. Afterall after having huge amount of experience, I am sure you would be in need of good material, concepts, case studies and not much but few interaction and academic support.
