Hi Nishanth

Heard that you've visited KIAMS.Why don't you share us your experiences there.How is the college?

well...

starting with the journey...

journey is no good man, its a 14 hours journey...
bus starts at 5.30 imlibun...
until ap the roads fine.....
but around 1.30 in the night, sumwhere near a place called GANGAVATI the road gets horrible...
cant catch a wink of sleep.....
reaches by around 7-7.30 at harihar....

HARIHAR...
the town is not at all so pleasing to see guys.....
n not knowing how far the campus is from the coll i jired an auto for 25 bucks....n cME TO KNOW ITS WORTH MAYBE 10-25 BUCKS...
EVEN THEN...
THE TOWN IS NOT SO GREAT MAN.....

while returning i took a visit to the HARIHARESHWARA temple.....
actually speaking, i was the ONLY devotee there...haha
no pujaari also man...
nice place to sit, peaceful, nice architecture....

n had a look abt the place..
if i;m not wron... every gully has a pig..hahhaa


the CAMPUS
i think its the HIGHLIGHT of the TOWN itself...
the town shpould be proud of having such a college...

sooo...my story...i landed there at about 7.30, got thru the security, then the admission incharge Ms.Veena,had alloted me a guest room, to which i was escorted on registering at the security...
the guest room was nothing less than a three star hotel room man, AC.TV.double beds, carpet floor, all antique red wood furnitur...
the guest room was good....
n yaaaa...(as a guy)it was located under the girls rooms...hahahha

n then the room boy told me abt the breakfast timings, its a bit tight on schedule, the counter closes at 8-8.30 duno wen...
i was late so had to miss breakfast...hahaha

so then slept for soome more time....
n at 10 went to the office, met Ms.Veena, (a very friendly person), who then got somebody to show me the campus...

the main block of the campus consists of 3 squares, n a circle n a triangl...i dint quite understand the structure...
but the building n everythihng was great....

tht guy sumhw got me breakfast also after maskafying him..hahha
n almost attached to the main blocjk is the girls hostel(no entry for me)..hahah
n then behiind the main block the library n stationary n dispensary were there...
n then theres this BIIIIGGGGG cricket ground man...itys awesome.....
n then the swimming pool was being cleaned wen i went, its quite a big one...(sad thing, seperate timings for guys n gals...sob soob, hahahha)
n the gym...
then the boys hostelll...!!
its a pucccca boys hostel...all clothes hanging around everyhere, n all the usual nionsense ion a boys hostel..
the rooms were big, two cots, n a study table, a laundry area..
the hostel has TWO washing machines, fgor sudents use....
os a dhobi comes from outside, at nominal rates....

after going thru the campus,
i met the dean, principal, director during the tea break, it was a bit formal, i was the lone studernt in between all the faculty of kiams...
then i went n paid the fees, i LOVED the campus guys...its still in my mind

n then i slept for somemore time(remember the fact that i sint sleep the previous night..hahha)
n then at lunch time went tothe canteen..
i'll tell ya the menu..
chapathi, rice, some 4 curries, sambar, rasam, curd, n a salad..
all yummy food...
i had my hearts full...!!!
n then actually wen i went it was empy, so i sat alone, n then no senior sat beside me...
fnally one senior of the outgoing batch called me...

n then INTERACTION(ragging in other words...hahha)it was fun...
couldnt stop smiling man...dunno why....
it was fun, asked many things, n they told me also many thing which i ought to rtemember n tell them wen i join back...hahha

one of them asked me the quest after 5 mins, n i told him, kabhki bhool gaya sir...hasna shuru kardia unnu...hahha

n then i spoke to some seniors....
all lyt lyt talk...

n hey ya forgot to tell ya...
i got a copy of the RULES n REGULATIONS at KIAMS..
anyone who wants a glimpse shud gimme a treat..hahaha

i left campus at around 3.30, saw the harihar town, all in 25 bucks to the auto guy...(see the diff, haha)

tht was quite an essay...

well at 3.30 i caught a bus to DAVANGERE,
well, its quite a biggg town...
well, i found out that nearly 25% of the town isd TELUGU(happily)
then i looked around n found out that two theaters out of 4 show eiother hindi or telgu releases...
hahhahan started at 5.30 back for hyd....

got a good co-passenger...
a student from first year BDS, who was tellling me abt their raging n stuff....,
ya ya therer are 2 medical, n 2 engg colleges in davanmgere

this frnd of mine was a BDS student....
chatted with her till most of the way...
n there was one aunt who couldnty bear to leave her daughter at coll...
started crying n fell sick...
had to take care of her also..

all in all.....
quite an interesting trip...


but the CAMPUS frnzzz was simply tooo good, juzz loved it..

n ya, therz a shop which opens 12night n closes 3 early morning, n therz also a fast food kinda thing wioth teh same timings...
heard that stdnts work very late into the night, from the attenders...
the campus is Wi-fi enabled, laptops allowed to access the network...
(n no unscrupulous matter to be accessed...hahhah)

maybe a SCHEDULED time out there...
even then i sumhow felt at home over there...

well in case you are movie buff then you need not worry coz you can watch all the new flicks both HIndi and English(some of them) . i am a movie buff and saw The national treasure,Die-hard 4 and Rush Hour 3 along with most of hindi flicks.. the tickets are just 40 and the quality is good enough...you'll have a good time believe me
