Hi Venkat!
The July 5th exam is for the 16-month program that starts in Sept. We will have another exam during January for the May intake. Maybe you could try then? Do drop in to the campus when possible!

I have been in touch with many people and i was asked these questions repeatedly ...so decided to scrap here ....

1. What is the difference between 16 mnths and 12 mnths ?
Heh there are no differences with respect to the curicullum...Its juz the number of months ....

2. I am experienced ? Which course must i join ?
If you are experienced then all doors are open to you. 4T4 ie 16 mnths have a combination of experienced and freshers ...but 4T3 ie 12 mnths have only experienced ...rarely they consider freshers for 12 mnths...

3. AICTE approval?
Guys we need to understand that most of the B-Schools that provide 1 year MBA does not have a AICTE approval and when it comes to SMOT it has already applied ...The certificate that is given by SMOT is a world renowed ....nothing to worry from this perspective

4. How is the exam ?
You can take up GMAT or CAT If yu have not taken bth they do conduct a exam and i hope this time it is some where in july ...But interview is something very important ....get ready for the interview


5. Reaching SMOT?
Its quite simple ...its juz take few minutes from tharamnai station (flyover train) ....probably near sun direct office .....u can also reach smot through OMR ...juz opposite to HCL building

6. Can i visit SMOT ?

You can drop to smot any time .....I will suggest all to visit SMOT and speak to the professors and have a outlook

Also guys you must forget about the holidays ...especially if you are from IT ....sat is a working day ...atleast as of now i did not have class on sunday ..but expecting one soon !!!!

Adding to Hari's points ,you can talk to any student anytime by visiting the campus.I guess students are the best persons to get the clear info of any college.

I am HariPrasad and i am currently doing my 12months PGPM4T3 at SMOT Business School. Hello Guys,

Tremendous response for 4T4 '08 and we did have a high tea session at our campus couple of days before ......it was a great mix of freshers as well as experienced .....good going .....

The management is planning for international tour for the current students ....since they have a tie up with canadian universities ....they can make the international tours possible.....also they are looking for MOUs with US universities too......Its a happening place !!!!
