Also i would request other guys also to pour in thier experiances as delhi is over, kolkata is over, navi mumbai is again goin on..

Best of luck to everybody..

Buddy got this from PG...

GLC courses mainly focuses on the specislisation like HR, Retail, IB whereas PG couses r more generic gives overview of all the streams(finance, mktg,IT,OPs etc)... though PG courses hav specialisation in d 2nd yr..also PG gives the flexibility to choose ur specialisation in d 2nd yr...but if u r sure to get into HRor retail or IB then GLC courses r good nd frm last yr these courses r AICTE approved..placements has been good...

the fees for HR and Rm are a bit less than the usual PGDM program. IB is on the higher side ...Just what you had done in ur project will be sufficient if you have a good cat score...or else present all the facts and figures in GD...they will really appretiate this...and dont beat round the bush in ur GD round....
This is my personal experience abt their liking and all....what they confirmed me later on...
In my GD i just started and then put forth my ideas with figures and durin Pi they told me that i got the max. marks in GD....ATB

Re: Itm Business School:gd/pi Experiences For 2008 Batch - 17-04-2008, 04:02 PM

hi puys!!!!!
got selected for the PGDM programme at the navi mumbai campus!!!.....hd my interview in kolkata on the 12th of april......gd topic was centred around the fee hike by the IIMs and how its not justified...hd a superb gd and topped my group(was told dis in the interview..)....den hd a long wait before my interview..interview was pretty chilled out and i was asked questions like...why i wanted to do an mba,why navi mumbai as a location, who my role model is and why,why microfinance as an entrepreneurship dream, some details regarding dat...,pretty easy questions on academics...and so on....all in all my guess is dat it is ones profile plus the gd performance(where various parameters like communication skills, leadership qualities, body language, grasp on the topic, group dynamics, and so on are judged) that goes to decide one's fate as far as campus selection is concerned.....
and here's wishing all the remaining candidates all the very best for their shre of the gd/pi drama

cheers!!!:hurray:
