okk PUYS


I ve a serious problem
I took GMAT and Got a call from MICA but cudn't clear MICAT
I ve 640 in GMAT and appld to b grade US B school
and waiting for their decision
I cum from a middle class family,so have to tk a loan f around 15L
Shd i tk apply into ITM Mumbai?
If I get selected, wt will be my ROI as I have to repay the loan too

OR

If I get into US B school, shd i go to US intead of ITM?

help plzz

congrats for ur selection. i wana knw whr ws ur interview centre. i hv recently applied to itm, didnt knw they wud start gd/pi's so soon. i hpe it doesnt affect my chances of selection... hv 87%ile in xat n decent acads...also hv 17 months of work ex bt i m scared tht i hv applied late. also jst chkd the gdpi schedule on the website, it says the dates for delhi interviews is 28 n 29 march. my form wud hv reached itm tdy bt i dnt knw if they wl cl me for interview coz of the dates...i hpe thy do...

i heard that when u go 4 the GD/PI u gotta take a 25K DD with u.....

and that if u r selected u gotta pay it then n there..........

is this true..

if not when is the last date to pay the first installment (25K)........

if paid the 25K, what are the refund rules, i heard that u only get a refund if the seat u r vacating gets occupied by someone else......is this true...

whats the last date for asking 4 a refund......

puys and alumni plz help me out with the above detail ASAP.....coz the last date of form submission is 31/3/08 .....and not much time left now.

This is my last hope.
@ shweta tell me abt the no. of offers put up by the itm on your center for mumbai.
some tthing abt your percentile and all as that can cool some nerves here...

d day i had my intvws...around 26 ppl wer presnt for d same...
n arnd 10-11 wer compltly eliminatd by d end...
outta dem i gues 8-9 ppl got navi mumbai (not sure)
n rest wit lesser totals( score + acads+ gd+ pi+xtra curr) got odr centrs or if de prefrd southern centres lik chennai/blore, got those...

my percntil was les yar but d criteria was a MINIMUM percntil of aroun (75-80)..so i was fit in it...
n my acads wer gud n gd was among d best ( i got to know frm dem ) so dat in turn increased my total.... so i got thru navi mumbai despit a les xat score !

however dis was d scene on 23rd Feb!
so de myt ve increasd d criteria to minimum 80 or so..cant say...

rest is clear i guess ....

hi nikhil...i had my gd at kolkata on 11th....the gd will be on some genral topics so nothing so compliated will be there...we had some topics like>> Nano>>Advertisement is necessary for products andd allso you can easily manage these things..dont worry..GD will be followed by a PI round and after some hours your result will be eclared...again PI will be a sort of both interviewing your grad and gk and a bit like counselling if you are not sure abt your capus choices and then...hope it will help you Tc
