Dude....

I took MAT Sept without much prep....got about 95 percentile. Thinking about taking MAT Feb to try for JBIMS....Is it worth the take? Should I also try ATMA?

XII - 90.2%
B.E (CS) - 70% - Anna University [ not that it really matters ]

Was cultural secretary in school and organized a few events.

Held a lot of responsible positions in college in the students' association, disciplinary committee, placement committee, accreditation committee and all event committees.

Was the Mozilla Campus Rep for my college and got a letter of appreciation from Mozilla Corp for doing some good grass-root marketing for Firefox.

Presented a paper on email security in 2 national level conferences.

Actively helping out the startup community in Chennai.

Co-founded a society in Chennai. Soon to secure a monthly newspaper group-column and/or a local radio show.

Avid blogger. Worked a lot on Internet, WWW and Web Design. Content Management and all.

Do I stand a chance at JBIMS with this profile? Also, I fall under Outside Maharashtra Candidate category.

i don't think profile matters a lot in the admission process of JBIMS....because its through CET or MAT/CAT/XAT scores...you need to get above 99.97%ile in MAT (was last year) for a realistic chance...rest upto you whether you wanna try or not...
