The Announcement of Results (List of Selected Candidates) deferred till May 15, 2008.

All candidates belonging to OBC Category must submit thier caste certificate, status pertaining to creamy layer (in the applicable format) and the income certificate to the Academic Section, TISS, Mumbai latest by May 10, 2008.

One thing that we could have done better.
The thing that makes pagalguy a quality place is the structured and organised way of discussions.Hence mods always close repeat threads.

So when you have anew thread for some different objective it can only be justified if we stick with the different content of that thread.

In this case i appreciate everyone pouring useful information and discussion on this thread but again it would have been most relevant if posted under right thread.Imagine someone next year scouting all the threads to gather info and coming across unneeded posts !


Anyways since this is the end of journey to TISS this year , it's time to say "adios" to this thread ! Hope most of you have got a college of your choice and it's a new beginning .

For all the souls who are gonna toil for one more year , all the Best And let's keep working.

Hey I am also appearing for the Social work Gd on sunday... Do u have any idea as to what kind of GD topics may be asked?? I have absolutely no clue!!!:sad:

Topics related to social work which shows u r eligible to study in tISS & sensitive to social issues.
you should be knowing IN & OUT abt HR functions also for personal interview.
TISS conversion is more based on timings also as number of seats are less some time they select students who does not have chances of selection.
you search topics in the pagalguy last year topics has been posted, there is a group in orkut for last year GD/PI. Last year they have selected 2500 for GD/PI so u can get enough topics.

i have qualified for the P.I. in counselling and social work..
i have no idea as to how to prepare for it ?
also, what is the conversion rate in the two courses .
