Hi Sobhan,

surprising to find no experiences posted till now

Neways...i was there in the campus throughout the day and some gd topics which i came to know of and recollect were:

"indo us nuclear deal"
"(something related to) climate change"

the topics i heard were very generic in nature...so as i have reiterated many a times, get done with ur current affairs properly.

the extempore topics asked were:

"black is beautiful" , "mulberry" , "first candidate of the day", etc.

Had my interview today at FMS.
They just saw my documents and signed verified on the data form but the attested copies were not taken from me.
is there anything i missed?

I guess the authorities are sure so as to what they have to take and what to ignore..so no problems for you.

My experiences .....
GD topic : INC should look beyond gandhi family, started clusmsily but gathered structure later on ... overall a decent performance of the grp, i gave 3-4 points (overall average for me).

I was the 2nd last candidate, previous ones had extempore topics as
pedagogy, amsterdam, lightining, identity, GAIL ...
My topics was "early 2 bed and early 2 rise makes ..... wise " - started abt this being an old adage which was very apt, however lately has started losing its relevance.
So much overload, nightouts .... BPO call centre people have night shifts
Stress developed .... so companies focussing on healthy lifestyle and hence its back into prominance ... was asked to stop.

Interview - same panelist ... dean sir (P1) ... madam(M1) and 2 other profs... P2 and P3.
P1 - whats prime time
Me - cud not understand for a while, then told that its the time whn viewership is high and so are the TRP rates.
P1- whats the prime time of day
Me - early morning ... (blundered) ... immediately apologised and said its late evening, when people are back from work, and TRP is high because of higher viewership.... guessed 9 to 12 pm ....
P2 - What is happy hours.
Me - said that with respect to internet i will answer this, period when there is not much rush, offers are given to attract people... blah blah
P1 - Whats your salary
Me - answered
P1 - Why want to do MBA ?
Me - answered ... want to get into consultancy ...
P1 - how many years worked on technology
Me - answered..
P2 - don't u think technical person are paod less and managers more ? A simple MA may do MBA and earn more
Me - Manager work is not confined to technical ... he has to do people management ... blah blah
P2 - in germany tech people paod handsomely ... not in india .. why ?
Me - Technologocally we have advanced more in IT and related fileds only ... Germany more advanced in core tech area .. so gud salary for tech people there ...
P2 - does ur company do tech stuff ..
Me - yes , focus on tech advance .. have been into products also ..
P1 (cuts me off) - tell me 7 qualities in order of importance (most to least) that u value most.....
Me (thinking) - Adaptability, hardworking, dedicated, knowledge, camaraderie, learnability ... could not think of last one :(

There were a couple of more que ... answered them also ...
