thanks.. waise to i have already made it ..u plz help to format it and u didnt answered me ur from mhrod or mib...(waise to ki fark pahenda hai coz mib and mhrod both are a part of family DSE .. )but phir bhi dass do..i mean atleast i should know the person whos helping will be my classmate or my familymate???hai na???and plzzzzzzzzzzz aaj yaad se kar dena..with all formalities..mujhe agar admin. na bhi banao to chalega but the thing is community to bane...

Anyways, i'll be joining MIB..Yes, its two courses under the same umbrella!!!
I would help in community but seniors from MHROD would prove to be the guiding torch in every sense...Neetu n others!!!
Also please do search for existing communities before creating new ones..

having a community specifically for mhrod is a great idea; by the way
i had some query reg. the following
1 . need for laptop in this course; is it necessary/mandatory/optional...?
2 . the books 2 b studied, r they provided by college,r they by indian authors, wondering if u could give me a name or something.
3 . what's the level of group work req. in the course, i have heard guys in b schools staying in hostel, working till late @ night, what's the case here ?

Hey Guys!! me 2 @ mhrod:new_multi: 'must have a community.
but one request, any site but orkut, its sooo, impersonal, & like every tom, ****,harry has a community there, we 'd be better off on facebook/big adda/ibibo/ whatever, i guess we could even make a seperate forum here, or what about a community linked thr. the mhrod 's official site.
guys, options r limitless, but orkut's . . . Been there, done that. .stuff'.

hey.. well..i can answer ur querries to sm extent...
1) its mandatory to have a laptop..but in today's scenario..its a must have.. coz of the amount of work, studies, presentations etc involved.. its better to share ur data, study material etc...
2) the buks..well u can ask ur seniors abt it directly...mostly there is a healthy mix of indian + foreign authors..smtimes 1 preceding d oder in reputation..varyin frm subjects to subjects..
3) group work is essential..but having spoken to seniors... no nite outs wud be essential..since classes get over by 3 pm... so there is ample time..til late evening to get d work done...
rest i think neets frm MHROD wud help u out betttr...

its not about the number of communities thats there on orkut , its about how you maintain it.

with regards to some of the other sites you've mentioned , i'm pretty sure , the no of people using them would be 1/4th the number in orkut.

while going for any new community , the first question that should arise is 'familiarity' (read popularity). here , orkut wins hands down.

2. simplicity - i couldn't make head or tail of facebook when i first used it. here too , orkut wins hands down.

we've got a community for MIB @ orkut (class of 2010) , we make it a point to entertain only those who are in the waiting/merit list. its highly moderated.

at the end of the day , it all boils down to how clean you want the community to be . if you are successful at that , you purpose is served
