Hi,guys and gals
i m shashank working in < accenture in sap domain for almost 10 months now.
i got selected in ibs-hyderabad.i have done my b.tech in ECE before joining accenture.

It's good that i got placed.
i want to tell u all tht please shed down your inhibitions of package, salary, good or bad. in long run it all depends on you
and how you explore opprtunity.here i am working as functional consultant but at low package.all of my friends who joined still at same level.
it depends on how u took bomb out of small shell.so fight is everwhere.

Be ready..... as far as placement figures of icfai hyderabad is concerned. one of my friends of 2006 batch got placed with 6.5 lac starting now is in singapore.

Hi Shashank,

I completely agree with your point. Had i had an experience of 10-15 months, i would not have given a thought to the package and placement stuff.

My friend what you need to understand is that i am talking about this because i have a huge experience of almost 50 months behind me and thus i need to think of the package and placement. One wrong turn at this time of life can be a major HIT to my career.

Also ones professional and personal commitments grows with growing experience and walk of life which makes it harder to bring career changes dicisions in life.

As you have specified that your package is low, the oppertunities for you is greater as most of the companies visiting will be offering you more than u wanted. But for my case my options will be limited as i need to focus only on those companies which can pay me more than wht i would have stood two years from now.

Therefore my friend i need to be sure that what are the opprtunities for me. Will it be worth for me to invest 10 lakhs and end up with sumthing i dont want?

This is just my way of looking at things and i may be wrong but there are many other factors that play an important role to make decisions in life. Hope you would understand. :-).

PN: There is nothing personal. Its just my way of looking at things.
