Hi Shobh ,
I dont know if i got your question correctly , but i will try to answer it.
Firstly , you want to do your summers in Delhi - I think this might be a difficulty in SIBM , as SIBM is located in Pune - One is more prone to be placed for summers in Mumbai or Bangalore or Pune itself.
As for Delhi - there are enough MBA schools there around for companies to recruit in summers.
Nevertheless you never know - companies with branches all over India may give you that choice.
Secondly , Placement i dont think is restricted to regions , you can get placed in a company based in Pune but it recruits you for office in Delhi - I think no one can speculate on that now .Yah but the stats from this yrs placement records in SIBM can help you.
Seniors , I guess you need to throw some more light for our friend Shobh.

One of my friends cleared his waitlist 33 (score 98.3X). He got his letter last week. Anyone else came across a clearance with lesser score?

Are you sure abt this.. Is this SIBM Pune u are talking abt? Did ur frnd belong to the "Open" category? I have a score of 98.42 but I have not yet received any such letter/mail.. Please recheck and let us know

Hi,
Sorry ... I just talked to that guy personally... he is not very sure abt his score but his waiting list was 33.... he is sure abt that ...
And ya ... Its Pune and he is from Open Category.

Received a mail from SIBM Bangalore, confirming my candidature for the batch of 2010.
Already got thru IIFT Delhi, so i wont be pursuing it, hope this info helps anyone!!

Soory for my late entry.......... was busy with sumners............
well, all that is said above is true.............. but its not impossible......... there are many of my batchmates doing their summers in delhi............
as fas as final placements goes........... u would be restricting your choices, but its not really a big problem................
ultimately , the choice is yours.............
