yes, I ma the same guy..lol..u r not mistaken..congrats to u too..u are the one who sat to my right, right? so u got shortlisted for pune and confirmed bang...man..congrats to u too...and as the flow goes..even I want Pune..he he..never repented those 6 marks less in class 12 boards more...(had 78.8 percent..meant 2 instead of 5 in SIBM..3 more..and i wud have breezed thru..damn!) but anyways..

so what abt bangalore? joining? and is ur waitlisted status same for both offer letter and web site? mine is not..so tht is another point of concern...

Hi fellas,

I have made it to the final list of SIBM pune.

score:108.75/150
X- 82.4
XII - 80
Grad: 81.6

Now the difficult part, although I would have taken SIBM any day, when I was preparing for b-skool exams, but lady luck gave me a jackpot in CAT. I would ideally want to join an IIM and keep SIBM as a backup [ No offence intended].

But I cant make head and tail of the refund rules. Can some seniors please help me out. As the results for most other institutes come in April, what would be the amount I would get back if cancel my admission in April?

hey guys,

i talked to my mentor frm SIBM pune... guy told me tat last yr, WL moved till 35-40...though he was not much sure.....he also told me "most probably" seats goin vacant would not be moved to management quota as done by hrd last yr....

by the way, 97.21 for me....as smone poited out, 99.46 might be possible cut off, any guesses how many guys might be in 97-99.4 bracket???

after seeing ur signature, I think it will be not a wise decision if u take up SIBM, u have converted both of the results which came so far.

have faith in you and adn u have all the calls from top 15 colleges so why are u worrying, just chuck out this time and concentrate on gd/pi ok.
but still u want refund rules,

As per AICTE notification No:AICTE/Legal/04/01/2007, if you have paid any or part of the 1st or 2nd installment fees of any institute and then for some reason, if you choose not to join, then you are eligible to be refunded in FULL MINUS 1000/- as processing fee. So if you have paid say, 30000 bucks to XYZ Inst and then get admission to ABC Inst which is better and decide to join there, XYZ HAS to repay 29000 to you.

Amazing season man....

You have mostly cracked every exam that you have given.....

And all 6 calls by probability suggests that you'll atleast be in the waitlist of 2 IIM's (considering the worst case)....

So dont worry concentrate on the GD-PI's and you'll get through...

Fee refund is easy and SIBM is very forthright with that thats the reason its mentioned in the official call letter too.

ell i hope there are not many ppl for my own sake....

I have 98.83.....just a 0.67 gap from probably the last call getter...

But who knows there might be ppl with 99.1 too with final selections for pune...

Similiar story for me too man. I got 116.96/150 in SIBM result. Officially second rank in SIBM shortlist. Am loving it. But want to wait for IIMs results as well. Can't understand their refund rules. Seniors please Help.

I am not so sure about bangalore.....all i know is that i am going to pay the first installment...
