I had called up IITK and they told me that everyone has to report at IITK @ 9AM on their respective day. Plus, since I m working, I cant afford to waste time going by train. So, I have already booked flight tickets to Lucknow via Delhi (Air India flight IC601), coz thats the fastest way to travel from Mumbai. Kanpur can be reached frm Lucknow by road (arnd 70 km). Hope this helps.

Hi All,

I have a big problem in my hand. I has my Narsee Monjee interview on 22 Feb in afternoon slot and IIT kanpur interview on 23 Feb. There is no way by that i can reach from Mumbai to Kanpur in such a short span of time.

So Seniors please help me out. Please tell me what is the procedure of Rescheduling the GD/PI date.

manoj feel sorry for ur situation.. but there are 2 options open for u...
1. there is jet airways flight which leaves from bombay at around 4 in the evening... it goes via delhi and reaches lucknow... from there u can catch a cab or something and reach kanpur on 22nd itself...
2. request either of the institutes for a change in the slot!

Thanx a lot for ur reply but the problem is my narsee monjee interview is in afternoon slot, so in any case i won't be able to catch the 4 pm flight.

So feeling like only second option lefts now!!!

I am planning to take kaifiyat express which will reach Kanpur at 1:35 on 25th morning ...
now I have some doubts here :
1.will it be ok if I reach so late in the night ..can I still report at IITK or would I need to wait till morning to do so ?
2.I am wrking ..and taking a leave is really difficult ...will the process be over on the same day itself ?? I am hoping to attend office on 26th which means need to leave Kanpur by 25th eve.

also travelling from hyd...want to know what is the best and fastest way to get to kanpur from hyd.....how are u planning ur travel?

i want to reach there by 23rd evening and was wondering if we are allowed to stay at IIT campus for the night?

can any of iitk seniors give more info on the stay there?
how long is the process going to take...coz i m working...
