heyy guys... this is vinod here... i ve got 70 %ile in XAT... thinking of applying for this b-school...??? im fresher.... can i apply..?? what are my chances of getting a call..??? please lemme know asap....

nidhi n other seniors,i got 88.9 in CAT(53 in qa,69 in di n 98.8 in va)...69.9 in xat(qa-92,va-90 n di-10(!))...good acads n extra-curriculars...been workin in a mktg firm in bbsr since june '07...
should i apply to praxis?wat chance do i stand??

This is Rajat kejriwal here. Well your score is pretty decent and since you have mentioned that you have good acads background and xtra-cuuricular and some work exp as well, you must get a call. As far as applying to Praxis is concerned let me assure you that in terms of academics, you will get every worth of your rupee invested(Time value of money). We have a very strong faculty base. Since you are from Bhubaneshwar, I assume you have heard the name Prof. Srinivas Govindrajan-the name says it all. He's our dean. Please dont worry about the academics or the placements as our summers have started and excellent companies have already arrived and more are in the pipeline.

This is Rajat Kejriwal From Praxis Business School. You have Got a decent score in CAT. Now as far as getting a call is concerned you must also mention your academic performance and extra curricular activities you are involved in. But as of now your score is ok. So I would suggest that you apply.

And ya CP sir does take classes and we just love to attend them.

I have cat percentile 86.5


can i expect a call ...i have average academics with less than 60% in 12th....................extra corriclar is average too ...........i have 2 years of work ex in sales and marketing

and yes ...Praxis is not approved bt Aicte ...so no psu job or higher stduies ....isnt it ....??????????will it also affect placement

Rajat Kejriwal here. Weel in your case you have two strong points- a decent cat score and 2 years of work experience. But at the same time the area of concern is your score in the 12th standard. Kindly mention your graduation score because it is a very important factor as well.

As far as approval from AICTE is concerned its not a big issue these days at all. Hardly makes a difference. And as far as we go u can read the previous posts where we have mentioned about the summer placements that we have bagged. After this your doubt regarding any knid of approval will be removed.



Please mention your graduation score.
