TISS 2008 Actual questions Repository - 23-01-2008, 07:34 PM

Gathering questions from 20 odd pages (and still growing) is a rather cumbersome task. Thanks to puys like singhved, garfieldthecat, enchantment, pagli, bonhomie 4all,anaha and the many that i have missed we have got almost complete list of questions .

For future aspirants and guys who haven't been going through these threads this is one stop for the TISS 2008 exam.(Something similar to the SNAP repository (SNAP 2007 Actual Questions Repository) -we will make sure these questions never fade from memory and all exams are accountable for what they ask)

Here is the pattern

20 questions on VA n RC ,
10 question on social n contemp. issues
15 questions on QA,
5 on DI

Part-2 HRM
5 questions on a case study
15 questions on QA(12)n DI(3),pipes
30 questions on business GK

So all in all 40 questions in GK
The 30 questions in quants were sitters with a 25/30 possible
8 Q on DI were again as straight forward as it gets
20 Q on verabal were a tad tricky

So all in all it boils down to the last 40 questions of GK.
Here is a list of all the questions with verified answers from various sources.
The questions that I have missed or was unable to find the answer for, can be added as i get the help from puys. For the moment i have just used the reference key words instead of full questions. Will keep editing as i get updates.

I guess this settles it-

"American educator and organizational psychologist Rensis Likert (pronounced 'Lick-urt') (1903–1981) is best known for his research on management styles."

"Adam Smith (baptised June 5 (OS) / June 16 (NS) 1723 – July 17, 1790) was a Scottish moral philosopher and a pioneering political economist. One of the key figures of the intellectual movement known as the Scottish Enlightenment, he is known primarily as the author of two treatises: The Theory of Moral Sentiments (1759), and An Inquiry into the Nature and Causes of the Wealth of Nations (1776)."

So this does take Mr.Adam Smith out of the league of organisational psychologists.

So Smith should be the answer.

Was the actual question based on organisational environmental standards or was it based on organisational health or something else ?
