Agreed that after calculation it comes out to be 192
but since it was written in the question that no. of tiles to "FRAME" the rectangle so I added 4 for 4 corners.

Try to visualize the diagram...Hope ur getting my point
But i think its a bit debatable ;-)

evn i marked 192 :whatthat:

one more on square n framing was the cost of framing is 8/- per m sq. and it costs 6400/- to frame a square field. wt's the area of the field?
i marked 40,000 m. sq

another one was a margin of 1 inch on both sides n 1n half from both top n bottom of a page measuring 9*12. wt's the fraction of typing area?

i marked 7 by 12

the question itself said framing is required.

see below:

the 4 additional squares also need to be filled up, hence 196

even I think so... G.K does hold the key to an interview call.... though i feel people with above 90% score in paper I and around 60% and above score in paper II stands a good chance

wikipedia says: Robert S. Kaplan (1940--) is Baker Foundation Professor at Harvard Business School and co-creator, together with David P. Norton, of the balanced scorecard, a means of linking a company's current actions to its long-term goals. Kaplan and Norton introduced the balanced scorecard method in their 1992 Harvard Business Review article, The Balanced Scorecard: Measures That Drive Performance
