yeh i also marked culture and IQ.......the second question was --acc to author, IQ is dependent on which factors? something like this...and even i marked culture-dependent :sleepy:

another question in quant abt bordering a rectangle 4feetX12 feet by 2inchesX2inches tiles...the answer was 196?

hi guys!!... it seems people are largely reluctant to post info regarding the TISS papers...

Nways... i feel english and quant were easy and expect most of the people to score heavily... somewhere in the range of 95-98%

With respect to questions on Management techniques... i still do not have any clear answers and i guess so is the case with 7000 odd people who appeared for the exam

G.K was difficult to say the least.... anyone scoring above 50% in G.K stands a chance according to me....

Correct me if I have analyzed the paper wrongly....

since TISS has declared that 60% is required as the minimum marks, would they call all with more than combined score of 60 in both the papers (assuming 50 marks for each paper)?

Wouldn't that be a huge number of people considering the difficulty of the paper was not much and no -ve marking?

I think ans indeed is 196
coz 1feet =12 inches
so 1feet=6tiles
by this it comes out to be 192
but in order to FRAME the rectangle we need 4 tiles for 4 corners so it shud be 196 !
hope we r correct !

no doubt the english n quant were easy bt thn at the same time GK was not more of current affairs as thr were questions lk second contributor to world economic growth in 2003-05 n black monday of wall street.
c i believe evn GK is the deciding factor to get a call, i m a BBA student thus in first go i was able to get 15 questions rite out of 30 n after sm more efforts i attempted 20-22 correct out of 30,4 questions were clearly on stock market. so it totally depends on hw well u did in GK part.
