Placements, Infrastructure, faculty at your college - 12-01-2008, 05:38 PM

Hi puys who are already pursuing their MBA in India. This thread is for support of those students who want to take admission in a good b school but they dont know much about the faculty, placements, infrastructure etc. It helps them since many colleges ask you to pay some amount the very next day if you are selected ( for eg Alliance takes 25k) so you cant attend interviews of other colleges. For eg if someone has interview at Alliance on 10th Feb and the result of Welingkar will be out on 15th Feb,and if he gets selected at Alliance then since he has to pay some amount to Alliance, he cant wait for Welingkar result as its risky and will have to join Alliance. If he does not join Alliance and waits but does not get a call from Welingkar on 15th, he is in a mess since dates for Alliance are gone. So lets help each other. Lets have the information of all colleges at one place. So lets put up the placement details, faculty( good or bad or avg), and infrastructure as follows-

Name of college-
Course( PDGM , PDGM retail, IB etc)-
AICTE approved(yes/no)-
Scores accepted( Exam/Cut off)-
Avg salary(CTC)-
Infrastructure-
Faculty-

Please pur your takes.. Thanks.
Personally I am looking for details of Alliance, Welingkar, ITM, SIES, KJ SOMAIYA.

also according to the AICTE rules, a college can withhold only 1k of the course fee and has to refund the remaining amount if a student cancels his admission before joining a course.

Your time is limited, don't waste it living someone else's life
Don’t be trapped by dogma– i.e. Living with the results of other people's thinking
Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice
And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition
They somehow already know what you truly want to become

Hi Abhay....
First of all let me tell you that IILM Institute for Higher Education is an excellent institute to pursue your MBA from. Firstly due to its presence in the NCR, it has the advantage of being right in the centre of the corporate world.
Secondly the faculty in this institute has vast bank of knowledge and industry experience as well. And not only this, IILM has many clubs n societies wherein the students get a chance to get a taste of the actual working environment.

But let me warn you that due to its increasing credibility, many institutes are using the brand name of IILM in order to promote their own institute. Infact there are only 2 branches of IILM which are at gurgaon and lodhi road.
