Hey, how come you have got 35 marks in GD PI ???
The max. marks (so far I know) is only 30 (10+10+10 for GD, PPI, WorkExp) ???

THere is something serious wrong in marking...
I got only 10 marks out of 30, but I bet my performance was in top 10% in the GD (even I initiated it), and PI was just damn good (from my point of view of coarse)... and for the Work Exp part, they cant give me a ZERO after working in an Indian MNC, and the 2nd best Global Consulting firm ..... total of 2.5 yrs of experience....

Though, nothing will affect my choice of specialization at a final merit of 40.. but still with the kind of marks people are getting in GD PI here, has put a question mark ???

Good on u dude....i had score of 76 in written and got 20 in gd pi, so score of 96 gets u nowhere.....wonder how ppl from last year converted merit ranks of even 500+ as posted in earlier threads....i mean how do u justify applying for global/retail/banking/ capital all in one PI!!!!

This matter can be controversial bcos NMKondap himself said that the GDPI is out of 30.

point should be raised in the counselling itself ... (no offence to anyone, though)... some exceptions are expected always... but here are more than few

i'm sure.. u can check in the pages right in the start where i had posted my nmat sect marks when it was declared(79) n now its 114 .. 114-79=35 right?? my gd/pi was really really good so don try to bring me down.. i've done nothing wrong or illegal. i got what i deserved! besides i think they just couldn't resist my chubby face besides it was not officially said anywhere what the gd - pi weightages are..

Hey, you have taken in the negative spirits dost .....

I am sure noone intended to be offensive to you... it was just somewhat expected to see this distribution of marks, and hence this "obvious" tendency to dig deep on that.

I personally never thought even for once, that you are not deserving (trust me this is not the feeling in my thoughts)... It was just I am not quite satisfied with the marks which I got... earlier I was thinking that if I got only 10, then no one else might have got marks more than 20, but when I see people with even 35 marks, then I begin to doubt on either one of these-
(i) my own capabilities (read performance in GD PI round, and relevance of work exp)
(ii) marking methodology

And you can guess, it was more likely to doubt on the 2nd point above...

Once, again, No offense to you.. (if I meant unintentionally, then am chooo shoorryy )
And, Congrates for your great score... perhaps you are the Champ when it comes to GD PI skills

On a friendly note, even if someone raise this point officially, dont take it too "personally"
