Hey Puys just don worry abt the competition and stuff. let everyone appear for the exam. what is to be kept in mind is that we have to give our best shot to the exam.

And about Sectoral programme being good or not i guess its a very good concept.See there r various companies that come to take people on placement for their various sectors. but since the people have overall knowledge abt the MBA thing so the companies have to take the pain to provide them wit the training and stuff. which in our case would not be applicable as we would be specalising in that particular sector only and we know what has to be done while we r working wit it..

So Companies have to take us in that case..rem one thing something is better then nothing and in todays world where time is the factor no company would take the pain of picking up people and train them when they will get trained people automatically.
many may not go wit my views but this is what i feel and think. I hope u all give my thought a way in ur postings.
Thanks to All Rock The exam.

puys there is a lot of discussion going on about the placements after a sectoral mba. i think another worrisome aspect is that it will limit your options. if you are really interested in pursuing it only then go for it.
about placements there are mixed reactions. iv spoken t many ppl n all of them have a different thing to say. so ppl at pg who have gone thru it please help.

3.) A

4.) D

The NYSE is part of the capital market, but not the primary market for long-term securities.

hello
this test is likely to b on the lines of nmat (core), uptil last year nd 2 yrs back it was very easy to get into the insti. i've heard ppl wid 65 approx. in b.com respective were eligible to apply straight for capital markets ,seeing the boom in the sector -now the entry is made difficult..so probably i see the service nd retail booming some yrs frm now...while for us it wud not b dat competitive as of now.....this is my take ..however 2nd oopinions welcome...
(i've applied for capital ,banking nd services)
cheers
