hey why are ppl confused abt the 10th? we were said that the dates for foundation course will be given on 10th, not that we have to go there on 10th , right?
okay supposing the foundation course is starting on the 24th (the registration being on the 23rd) does it mean that the 23rd is the deadline if anyone wants to withdraw their seat n get the full refund back (-1000) ?? i'm going to call n ask them on mon but if anyone knows plz lemme know too.
n also wht are u guys planning abt the laptop? are u getting it from nm acc. to the configurations given on the site or u guys going in for ur own.. n which models?

as far as the cancellation is concerned i was told by one the student counselor at NM that it will be safe if you cancel it in the last week of may.......now by saying so i don't exactly know what did she meant........ but according to the cancellation process it think u can cancel it at the cost of rs 1000 before the course begins and that date would be 22nd is 23rd is the start of the course.....
also wanted to know if the cancellation process is same or merit as well as management quota??? i did ask about it an d was told tht its the same......

i met mr.shetty at nmims admissions office on friday..
he said,
only one cancellation has taken place till now..
students can cancel admissions till 5th june by losing 1000 rs..
there is not much movement till now...
students in waitlist will be given phone call, as soon as cancelations take place.
students can expect calls till mid june...

Hi Buddy My rank is 120 and i am still waitin for a NM call in banking sector (Open Merit Based). How could u came to know abt dis??
And i have already taken admission in Services Sector but will be leaving that seat in any case, so some good news for d waitlisters!!!

there seems to be no movement what so ever in the wait list as was predicted because of direct/indirect effect of IIM results......
has any one got any type of call...merit or management????
also i the cancellation is a bit confusing.....
as cutesuny mentioned in the earlier post he was told tht the date is 5th june for cancellation...
i was told tht it would be safe if you cancel it in the last week of may.....
now according to cancellation
procedures mentioned on the site you will get the refund less 1000 if one cancels before the commencement of the course......and tht date will be 23rd.....

NM started sending Welcome mail to all students...i got it yesterday.
Now the classes will start on 23 june.it means that if anyone wants to cancel
admission he can do it before 23 june.How many of u are thinking to cancel their admission..How many of u are waiting for any other results...like welingkar,CET etc..
