hey...my rank has jumped from 52 to 23 in grp D...
rank 13 in actuarials remains unchanged...
as anticipated my score and rank has improved in capital....earlier i had negative 6 in PI....now though i have moved to positive score ...it still remains at 1/30 in PI ...they might as well shd have given me a zero...my final score is 109 n rank 53...not selected...

still undecided whether to take up actuarial or banking ...

As per my calculation, if we live with the same density (as in the hostel/NM flats) in a private flat, then it should come around 4K p.m..... .. so Y to pay 8.5K pm in hostel/NM flats !!!

At least there is no preference between core and sectoral MBA guys while alloting the hostels or NM flats ... AFAIK . but that should not be any issue (bcoz i dont think u have any issue with core MBA guys... right? )

And, there is no doubt that hostels/ NM flats are far costlier than an alternate accomodation even in the Vile Parle area ..... The only advantage is the "hostel-feel" in the former.

I am seriously thinking to stay with "3/4 guys in 1 BHK" or "5 guys in 2 BHK" .. that should not come more than 3500-4000 p.m. per person. As for meal, dabbawalas are always available (even NM flats does not have any meals facilities, there all need to arrange themselves)

And, noone has yet appreciated the hostels so far ...

I just got info that NM hostel is 13km away ... can any1 else confirm it ...

a 2 BHK flat at Vile Parle will cost u around 25000/month and u accomodate 4 pepole => 6250 pm

NM charges 85000/annum => 7083 /month

any1 interested in private accomodation PM me ... we'll search together

I am Prasad from Mumbai. I have been provisionally selected for Capital Markets Program. Though I am yet to get admission in NM officially, I am hopeful of converting this one eventually... Just wanted to know about other people opting/selected/ provisionally selected for CapMarks so that we can decide about the accomodation, etc...

Well buddy in ur case i guess the SKT paper of capital which was organised jst ater the NMAt test tht score was added to ur group D score.......thus after revising it they have allotted this rank nd score to u.....

Frankly speakin,,, I wud say dont be do too optimistic........although u do have chance...becoz I dont think people are thinking abt retail ........nd ya one more thing I hear someone say tht no matter wht all courses u hav applied for nw u can go for all the courses available in Group D.......so tht includes services as well........
