Hey,

PI was average. They grilled me on CPI(consumer price Index) which is one type of Inflation which I could not answer satisfactorily. I guess i have lost touch of acads due to too much involvement in work.

I have registered for MMM in welingkar yesterday as i could not wait till nm results (16th feb).

Two good points which made me register :

1) They did not take original degree certificate or even work ex certificate and just took the attested copies.
2) They said i could cancel admission anytime before commencement of classes (16th June) and get 75% tution fees back and so i can take admission elsewhere and then cancel welingkar seat which is what i wanted.

Do let me know what u guyz are doing.

Hey Niru,

Sorry to bother you again. Just had a few questions as my NMIMS PI is on 7th...

1. SOP - do they want a handwritten one or a printed version will do?

2. Work -exp certificate - I work in a pvt ltd. so cant disclose the turnover info (i myself dont know)...wanted to know if this is critical...also about that point where 'he/she was working as a non-management/trainee....and so many ppl reporting to him/her....' is not relevant to me...so can i delete that and customize it accordng to my profile??

pls share any special info that you have, which will help during the PI process..

Can anyone tell me the tentative dates for the entrance tests of Wellingkar and NMIMS part time mba programme.? And what is the general format ?
Quant/Vocab distribution , etc...
Have lost track of solving aptitude tests long back, so feeling a bit nervous.


There was no update on the websites. and when i called them, the reply wasnt helpful.

Masters in Marketing Management (MMM) 120 seats
Masters in Financial Management (MFM) 60 seats

Hi all,
Really nice to see any blog for parttime course and the past discussions are very helpful.
I am also planning do a part time/executive mba program.
I have confusion that how the three yr parttime course is different from 2 yr executive pt mba course(from NMIMS, symbiosys pune ) in terms so content quality, market recognition etc.

congratulations for ur admissions. So finally which college u people opted for? and It would be great if you can share ur exprences over there. It'll be of real help in deciding the college for new joinees.

I'm very much in to technology from last 6 yrs, so out of touch in the topics coverd in exams. So to start with i'm using R. S. Agrawal for quant and Word Power made easy for vocab/verbal. Can u please help me with the written exam pattern and books/notes to refer.

Hi Sachin,

Even i was going through the dilemma of part time mba vs pt executive mba that you have mentioned. The resolution is that the 2yr pt executive mba from NMIMS or SIBM are diploma courses whereas the 3yr courses will give u a PG DEGREE. Thats the difference, so the market recognition would also be lower for the first course.

For Executive MBA, only the full time courses have good reputation, but sadly they are bit expensive

This is what i have found out. If you find some other good option/ info, please do let me know
