Please have patience, posting again and again wont help.

anyway, u can apply to IIT Madras, kgp, kanpur, roorkee and IISC for sure.

Bombay is doubtful and a descent chance at delhi. But do confirm this at IIT B and D college thread.

yes, it does make every sense to apply for IITB (and other colleges).. officially cutoffs are not declared, but there is a chance that you might get through.. ATB

Point raised by u z valid. Mine case is a little same. I got 44.25 and AIR 3905. If we unqualified students are given ranks that simply means we are reducing the rank of the qualified students whose marks are less than us but qualified. This is a mockery in the name of entrance examination. What they should have done is to issue the ranks only among the qualified students. What this discrepencies may result is in that this time IITs will get application from varialbe ranks ranging throughout. This issue must be raised further. Few of the pals on this site with qualified ranks have even scored around 4.25, 7 , 6.75 in some sections.. Have the GATE office have terminated the sectional cutoff this time again?Kindly revert to this problem....

@rrnr...You can defintely apply to DMS, IIT Delhi...You would surely get a call even by last year's standards (Last Call - Rank 393)

the jmet website says that I have

Qualified in JMET 2008 Examination!!

But reviewing the comments posted here makes me think what exactly is this quaification for ? Do i stand a chance to get a call for GD/PI from any of the IIT's

I have good Acads and 18 months work ex...

I have a small problem with my JMET result.
My score says that i have scored 5.25 in section 3 where i have marked only 5 questions.
If i were to get 5.25 the minimum number of questions i should have attempted is 9

Does anybody faced any similar problem..
