Hi Adarsh,

the only way to amke to IIM A,B is get as much as u can... aim for 100 u'll get atleast 98... and st/sc qouta would play its role then...

however coming to u r point ... one of my frd mentioned me abt a guy (ST) with some 94-95 %ile .. converted A,B,C (calls BLACKI)...

and ya Banglore do give lots of weighatge to acads... for ST/SC also...

hey dude even i'm from NIT trichy i've close to 48 months of experience . i had 2 calls one from lucknow and the other one from K . there was one question which i could not defend they asked me why are your acads low i'm also a 5 pointer . they asked me questions on integration functions and lots of engineering mathematics . i figured out the only way to impress them is have a percentile of 98 to 99 then u can probably tell them that u have improved a lot over the years .

dude i had close to 85 % but frankly speaking i was not all that happy getting a call at this percentile . . we are as good as others so asked u to try for anything more than 95 . it will give u a better confidence to face the interview panel. i gave cat with no preparation last time . preparing this year i realised it is a lot more easy in the interviews with a good percentile.
