This is true we shdn't under estimate ourselves....keep in mind the acads we have or our performance during the GD/PI...
Telling you my case...after my GD/PI was over for SIBM..I myself felt like changing my preference order from Pune to Bangalore.....at time things scare you.....ur(generally bad) and others(better) performance...when we can't justify ourselves....Whatever be the case...one should always aim high and be realistic....
Ppl drop a yr and it requires necessary explanation. Work experience gives one an edge to perform and compete well....one shd definitely go for it....It helps you understand the working of an organization....your experience would help you in your college as well as after your MBA.....and Freshers are always valued equally due to their innovating and fresh ideas and concept.....
Aptly said by Sumit tht getting into one of the finest B School is not the end…..we have to travel really long way…..Best of Luck to all of you!!! and for future aspirants….

i would like to know if i pay fees for bang then will they still consider me 4 upgradation 4 pune ..ya fir main sirf bang ke liye hi final kar de ..my first prefernce is pune ..

actually i talked with them ..n they r saying ki if i dont want banglore campus or not want to pay fees for bang..then pl write a mail regarding not interst in bang .. n wennever upgaration ll be there then still tumahra candidature consider kia jayega 4 Pune ..

ab samajh nahi aa reha kya karu ..wait karu pune ka ya fir fees jama kar doo
if u wont mind can i have ur no ..or u can contact me at 9868391848

Hi BKJ123,
If you pay your fee for bangalore you will be confirming ur seat for B'lore campus....but since u have given Pune ur first prefernce you will still stand for Pune campus.....they wud ask u to deposite the fee for b'lore campus and if u dont pay by tht date..ur seat for B'lore campus automatically gets cancelled but u r still in the queue for Pune///but if u dont get pune then u cant get the B'lore seat...however if u pay for B'lore and later get transferred to pune then your money gets internally transferred to the respective campus...

May they wanted you to write a mail regarding not interested in B'lore so tht they can move the waiting list without making other ppl much wait...

If cancel ur admission as u r interested in IITs then your 10,000(pre-induction course)+1000 will be deducted.

OA: 95.xx%tile..

QA: 79.xx%tile..
DI: 93.XX%tile..

Applied For: Only IIM's..(All 7)
Got calls from IIM B,L,I,K,S..

Didnt get call from IIMA coz of 1 mark in QA n from IIMC coz of 4 marks in QA..

One thing is worth mentioning here that I was supposed to get 21 in QA according to IIM keys also,but got 16 coz of some stupid scanning problem of OMR sheet..
So,luck wasnt there beside me..

Now bout my weakness: GD is my greatest weakness..Whatever be the topic,I dont just open up..Donno y??!!??
I am sure that I scored very low in GD's n that will cost all my calls..

Anyway,lets see whats in store!!

plz guys never ever under estimate urself cz determination can go against all odds...

if i can do it wid a profile like this(which is nooooooooooot good at all) anybody can do it...

i have done my btech from indraprastha university.
see if u r planning to drop a year plz think it over properly considering the amount of RISK involved and why do u really want to drop a year, cz u can always go for a job and prepare side by side.

one suggestion from my side, do analyze your past performances and make it sure that u dont commit the same mistakes again.

now,as far as about the preparation,in my last year of btech i.e 2006 i joined IMS n then in 2007 i enrolled in only for TIME test series.

as for my case i presented a B-PLAN to justify my drop, so plz if u plan to drop a year put in everything and prepare a good justification for ur drop...

and dont worry about your acads. carry the right attitude and ppl wont judge u for ur past !!
