just came across this new b school offering 1 yr MBA. seems impressive but strangely find no mention/discussion/feedback about it on PG

Zensar Technologies is part of a USD 3 billion RPG Enterprise.

30% foriegn faculties
placements assurance of min 6 L

seems like another GLIM in making ?

Yah I have applied to Zensar Center for Business Innovation (ZCBI) myself and appeared in their test. I have visited the campus and met the Director. Impressive campus ......

You may be right in saying that another GLIM or even ISB in making. They have good support from corporate and many industralists/tycoons are on their advisory board. Seems interesting ......

Target participants

The profile of the target participant would be a bright graduate with 1-2 years of experience in the industry. Applications would be invited from all interested candidates across India. Candidates would also be asked to appear for the aptitude test followed by a personal interview. Fresh graduates with good communication skills and sound academic records are encouraged to apply for this Programme.
How to apply

• Appear for any of the Aptitude Test mentioned below:
  • Common Aptitude Test (CAT)
  • Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT)
  • Xavier's Aptitude Test (XAT)
  • Joint Management Entrance Test (JMET)
  • ZCBI Aptitude Test (to be administered by the college in December & January)
  Note: CAT / XAT / JMET scores taken within two years are valid.
  GMAT scores taken within 3 years would be considered.
• Apply for the ZCBI Graduate Programme by filling in an application form. Application forms and Information brochure can be obtained from Zensar Center for Business Innovation (ZCBI) office in Pune against a fee to be tendered by way of DD / Cash payment of Rs. 900/- (Rs. Nine Hundred only). Application forms can also be downloaded from the ZCBI website home page.
• Applicants downloading the application form can send in the form fee of Rs. 900/- (Rs. Nine Hundred only) by either a DD or Cheque, made in favour of Zensar Centre for Business Innovation payable at Pune. Visit the 'Contact Us' page for complete address & phone no.
• To register for the ZCBI Aptitude test please send in a mail to
  contactus zcbi.org telling us when you would like to take the test (Dec or Jan). There is no test registration fee. You will receive a mailer from us a few days before the test date, confirming your participation in the test. This test will be conducted at the ZCBI campus in Kharadi (Refer the 'Contact Us' section for MAP).

Selection criteria

The selection committee at ZCBI comprising of both, academics and industry specialists. The focus is on a combination of factors - the candidate's academic results, test scores, evidence of leadership & motivation, letters of recommendation (desired), level of job responsibility and work history, and their unique talents and contributions in the past. Applicants are reviewed on their potential for successful performance in graduate business studies and their competitiveness within the current applicant pool.

The interview should be okay (I dont know yet), but I think it would be more corporatized selection process, given the ZCBI background and support from corporate houses.

Regarding the test, it is based on CAT pattern. They are calling it as ZAT ZCBI aptitude test .

Now the CAT results are out ............ I have scored 81 ..... gosh !! I dont know whether I should smile or cry ......... I know from the begning that IIM is not for me. I think for people like us who are slogging our ass in IT companies and dont have time to score 99.9 percentile in CAT should look for these institutes ...............
