Hey buck.....you redefined the meaning of the thread completely..... ....before statring i had a fair idea that this thread can serve lots of purposes but never did i bump upon this...........
indeed even i was facing the dilemma of which all colleges to fill up..........

so may be my post benefits some current puys and lots puys of next year batch...
my performance in mocks.......92-95 percentiles with avg being 89 due to 2 70 percentile performances....though this cannot be precursor but i have played amply safe......

95-97 bracket:- MDI PGPHR, will be filling up NITIE, SPJAIN
92-95 bracket:- MDI PGPIM, will be filling up post CAT IMI

Ok... The list of colleges i am applying to:

CAT Based:

1. 7 IIMs (Also,to IIMC PGDCM)
2. MDI Gurgaon (Both PGP and PGPIM)
3. NITIE
4. SP Jain
5. IMT Ghz.
6. IMI, Delhi
7. TAPMI (Back-up)
8. NIRMA (Back-up)

This makes it a total of 14 institutes based on CAT.

XAT Based:

1. XLRI (Both PMIR and BM) - XL is the only college from where i am willing to do HR. (as of now )
2. XIMB
3. GIM (Back-up)

Total 3

JMET:

• Will be applying based on the JMET rank. Altough am not averse to any of the IITs or IISC.

Total 7 (Max)

Others:

1. FMS - Will apply to both FT and MS
2. IIFT
3. CET - Will apply as i am from Maharashtra. However, will go only for JBIMS.
4. SNAP - Will apply to both SIBM and SCMHRD. May apply to SIIB as a back up
5. NMAT - Will apply to NMIMS Banking specialization program too. - Can't apply for Banking sectoral now as its entrance clashes with MFC's. Am preferring MFC.
6. MFC - DU.

Total 6 or 7.

So the final total is about 30 colleges.

Legend: The colleges/ exams in bold are the ones i am yet to apply for. Other, i have already sent the forms.

I think this is a pretty good pool of colleges to choose from. However, if i have missed any school, please point it out .

My mock percentiles range between 93-98. (Barring one odd 85! )

[guys please help me out..i have to join some good business school this year..i have to..but i have some serious doubts..one of my friends told that some b shools like mdi and spjain etc dont need cut offs..they need only overall marks!!!!!!!! is that true..??if thats true then i have to change my stratergy..if that isnt true,please let me know..i applied to CAT,NMAT,SNAP,FMS,XAT..
