i am working as a customs officer since last 2 yrs. and want to switch over to corporate. i am 27 now. will the age be a disadvantage for going for mib course and will my experience be given some weightage officially or unofficially at later stage?

the salary side..i meantioned in ma first or second post..the avg last yr was 6.3..o course dis s expected to increase substantially for the comin yr...
regarding the course curriculum...well..its a DU course..so nt the most updated i ll say.. bt ya..its gt everythin an mba course usually has with stuff like import export , interantional trade policy thrown in..

no not really a disadvantage..v have 3-4 pepal outta 40o that age n above....it act works as an advantage during placemnts..bcos of the knwlegde n experience..

actually i am more interested into specialization in finance .cud u shed some light on the curriculum in this regard................ actually i want a more of a MASTERS( post graduation studies) thing than an MBA (hope u get it... may be the idea is vague...)...................

Is there a common exam for both MIB and MHROD? If not are the pattern similar or different.
Did you mean critical reasoning or circular rearrangement by CR?

hey thr...c most of the pepal in our class have chosen finance as the specialisation n as i said most o d companies that come are also finanace based... bt to b honest, our curriculum doean really emphasis on finance.,..if nethin, its more marketing oriented.. bt v have electives(optional for which no papers r thr) that are taken by eminent faculty from different colleges or the alumni.. these electives include subjects like mergers&aquisitions, security analysis and portfolio management etc..
