Kushal Bhai seems u have done hell lot of Research on the packages data... as of now also website dosent speak of the data which u have stated might be correct...

Seniors if the data is so precise and correct can we have the SITM website updated.

* I would like to point out one thing that the Lavale Campus is around 20-25 Kms far from the main city and also SITM dosent allow to keep our own bikes etc. so dont you feel it will be like a problem ... shuttle service will be there but how often...

* Since SITM doesnt provide seperate placements to Laterals (as we were told) so dont u guys feel that it is unfair to those having gud amount of prior experience in hand.uppydog:

* Also since the fees has increased it will be around...

3.8 L Tution fees
+1.5 L Food and Hostel (Approx)
+Misc expenditure like Examination fees per semester and eligibility fees

so is it worth the ROI....
I know the loans are still available but still if some one having a bulk of exp should join this college or not...?? ??:??:

Firstly, You are no one to comment on how SITM should be managed. Its not on your whims and fancies that the B-School will operate. Get onet hing very straight, All of you have just been selected and its a long way before yu can truly call yourself a part of SITM. This is because every SITM student carries with him a sense of reponsibility. The behaviour which some of you are showing is HIGHLY UNACCEPTABLE.

THIS IS NOT YOUR HOME TO DISCUSS THE ROI OF JOINING SITM. IF YOU ARE IN DOUBT, YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE APPLIED.

WE ARE NOT HERE TO COMMENT ON YOUR SPECULATION.

Get clear of some facts once and for all.
SITM Lavale campus is 18km exactly from the current SITM campus, in the heart of the city.
Regular bus service is expected from the campus to city with good frequency, as with other Symbiosis campuses.
Placement IS A FACILITY AND NOT A RIGHT, as mentioned in the prospectus.

Placement figures are not available, and would be made public as and when finalized.
Seniors have shared some info to give you an indicator.
You are going to be managers, and such CASUAL and UNPROFFESIONAL behaviour is not accepted.

This forum is ONLY to help you in joining SITM. This is a friendly gesture from the seniors and not compulsory for anyone of us.
This is not a place to air all kind of questions. As I have already said before, There are some things that are best told to you after you join as it takes some amount of understanding from you.

Now let me be clear as well I was just putting my concerns and was not commenting that one should join it or not or anything like that. If u think that I m making any such attempt then I really feel sorry for the same, but on the same hand I too dont expect such a harsh/ ridicule comments from a senior.

I can understand that there exists a SENSE of BELONGINGNESS for every student towards his/her college, and it becomes irrational to hear anything or deduce anything against it...(though i was not in any kind of intension to do that u took me all wrong) But my intension was to have a healthy discussion over it by putting some concerns... which i dont think is taking place. And I dont think it was by any chance CASUAL or UNPROFESSIONAL from my side...

Yadu ji...I m sorry to say but not all can fetch in extra money every one is having different situation in life which they need to re-look and reconsider... earlier SITM was having a low fees now it is much more...

Regardng the placement...every college provides such a placement facility & there is no harm in looking into the figures to fancy ur chances ... I can bet everyone present here must have seen the figures before joining and speculated on it to certain extent.

I m Extremly sorry seniors if by anycase i have hurt u or if my concerns seemed obnoxious to u all. I sincerly respect SITM a lot.

Please request the moderator to change the name the thread in that respect.
No one was comenting on how the esteemed institue sud be managed or run, just dat Saurabh was trying to clear his doubts(which you had wrongly analysed as speculation) before finally opting for the college.
U had said that students from SITM carries with him a sense of reponsibility, I really hope that u learn from the other students ,in responding and analysing the situation.

The doubts which Saurabh had raised , may and will come for many other students, so the rudeness and irresponsible way of answer from your end was totally uncalled for. If you really find it difficult to digest/understand/answer some doubts then please refrain urself from posting rathr than bursting on some innocent aspirants. This considering that saurabh in no way was trying spread any rumours of any sorts. If u feel some questions cant be answered in a public forum, like the ROI part then u cud have been little polite in informing the same rather than showing your rude and irresponsible side using capital letters.

What u are considering as speculation was a valid doubt arising in an aspirants mind .
I and all puys wud appreciate if you refrain from behaving in casual and unprofessional ways while replying to the queries.

I think the questions put by Mr.Saurabham is out of concern and in no way depreciating any ones value, Or let me put it other way a person in pune wont know the climate of kamshmir if he hasnt been there , all he could do is ask residents of the place about all he quench his thirst, and one should always address others querriess by being paitent,after all u are the ambassador of the esteemed college , no matter how the conditions become never loose ur control , or conditions r in ur favour then u go 7th sky,

U see I'll tell u one famous eg. "u can never find a chap 4m a good Isti. by looking at him that he 4m Iinst., only the substance he carries makes him stand out of the crowd"

Well certainly one will have qurries which need to be asked afterall ones career is on verge of change,Bocz u never know who the person is?what r his conditions?what job profile does he holds? He has to gauage every condition from now and till he/she has completed his MBA? Even colleges in US or even ISB,Hyd. love to address those querries.

Also I agree Saurabham the geogragaphical barrier must have come to u,bcoz of which u were forced to quench ur thirst of questions?But I 'll certainly recomed u to be patient and have full use of information Services Available everywhere and go by unbaised statistics which of course will be given by no other but the college chaps itself.

* The uploading of website is not controlled by students, but the figures are more or less right.
* The fees has increased, but generally speaking, doing MBA is a good investment and being in Symbi is a good advantage. Although there are no seperate laterals, experienced candidates are much sought after and they get a higher package than freshers. So you can rest assured that your future is secured well here :-) . Said U Just Need To Send The Draft Of 95000/- At The Atur Centre, Sitm Campus Of Pune....no Need To Send Any Other Thing....and No Such Selection Letters Have Been Sent To Students!!....i Forgot To Ask---then How Come We Apply To Bank Loan!!and When Will They Check Our Certificates??
