Sir
Does SCMHRD consider any specific sectional cutoffs for SNAP (or is only the overall score considered) while giving calls to prospective candidates? If yes, pls elaborate about last year's cutoffs.
Thank You

I still wish to satisfy your query and hence would like to state as under
By tomorrow you will have thread posted selection process at SCMHRD. Beleive me, we select only in terms of the procedure. I can guarantee that transparency. Since you could not make it last year, i understand where you come from. But when we take meritorious students, we mean it. Apart from that there is management quota, which we do not touch but come from society. Can there be better transparency.
Secondly no student or staff or even the director calling will help you. They have no powers because the system will nto allow them to enter . Avoid it.
Please remember. i cannot guarantee any admissions as you have desired but can guarantee absolute fairness for which i am personally accountable. | | | | | The Following User Says NO Thank You to Director@SCMHRD For This Un-useful Post: | | | The Following 3 Users Say Thank You to Director@SCMHRD For This Useful Post:

you are already in a great position as SAP ABAp consultant. Such people are very few today and they are in great demand. Your decision to move out and do a bschool is appreciated. Yes it will be great help because you can move out as technical consultant and move in as project manager. YOu can also be an entrepreneur. We have similar profilr of yours as a student in second year. He is doing great and will be going places. He is in demand. He is also planning to go on his own which i am trying to encourage.
What you should do are as under
a. since you are in full command on ABAP move into business intelligence as well.
b. Study for snap and make the best attempt to get selected. You stand good chance on the merit which you have stipulated. I am ignorant on your leadership which i am sure will also be on positive side.
c. Start international CFA course or ICWA. you have six months
d. Come in and take subjects on finance and operations or marketing and operations.
e. We can also get you good associate offers in MDP/consultancy wing.
this two year will be good investment for you and will bridge the gap for yout o move into leadership arena. In the absence of you background biodata, this is the best I can do
all the best. | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to Director@SCMHRD For This Useful Post:

Hello Sir, With dure respect I would like to ask few things about your institute.I have gone through the SCMHRD website and the course curriculum,It has got good exposure to IT and associate fields like SAP..etc.I want to know more about Finance specialization from your insti.Do you have any courses or electives on derivatives, security analysis & portfolio management, investment banking or risk management..etc etc...apart from the regular electives which is shown on the website. How good are the placements in the "banking-finance-consulting" sector only ? Currently I have 1.5 years work-ex in Fixed income & derivatives markets(background:BE-electrical +1 year relevant workex-then PG.Dip in IT).How wise will it be to opt for an MBA in "Finance" as of now-Can I expect a value addition to my current work-ex.?Considering my profile what is the cut-off I need to get in SNAP to get a GD/PI call from your esteemed institute? Hope to get a favourable response from your side. Thanks in advance. Regards. Biswas.

Poer user certificate is always useful because it shows to the world that SAP recognises you. You need to do a lot functional subjects in MBA to utilise your SAP. In case you do CFA and CWA you will find going smooth in finance part of B school.
The difference between any B School is something each student has to evaluate based on his ability to go through a course. You also need to do homework by finding out from exisiting students etc.
