Hey anavya,

Nobody in my class or the seniors batch had requested for such a change..as there is practically no difference in the two courses.. the telecom focus program has a few additional subjects from the telecom domain...the placements in both the programmes are common..in fact a few additional telecom specific profiles from bharti and vodafone are only open to the DLT batch...additionally DLT students are eligible for 5 scholarships of 50k,30k,20k,10k,10k in a batch of 15...so you see DLT is a great program to be in!!

Hey Viral,

Most of my classmates who are in the DLT batch opted for it as their first preference in the application form...the others were awarded the DLt program totally on the faculty discretion..your guess is as good as mine..but am sure their backgrounds, work-ex etc were taken into account while offering them the DLT program over DLM..
