Hello seniors my XAT score :
OA : 86.33%
QA- 91%
LR -79%
VA-73%
(orissa domicile)
Work ex - 2years
10th - 89
12th 83
Btech NIT rkl - 8.57

In 2006 one of my frend from my college got call at 86 % and he is in
XIMB now ?
Seniors were cutoffs increased in those years ?
( i dont have idea so am asking)
Can i expect a call ? Are my sectionals are not able
to clear the cutoffs
Please suggest

also.. do they consider anything other than sectional and overall cut-offs while giving out intial calls ? do they just filter out the results electronically or go through them manually to decided if someone should be given the benefit of doubt ?

The difference between the domicile and general cutoffs has been narrowing down every year. In my belief the sectional cutoffs wont go that low (70%) but considering that u have a decent overall score u might jus get a call.A very close one at that !

At this stage the XAT scores alone would be considered.the rest of the value-addition comes later in the GD/PI stage.

Quite unlikely to get a call. Low overall score coupled with a very low VA,LR score.

I have 96.930 % ile overall..with sectionals being
VA 94.490
QA 92.940
LR 90.510

Can i expect a call from XIMB ?

Hi Seniors,

following are the scores i have obtained in XAT2008

Overall : 92.3 %
Qa: 75.57%
VA: 88.52%
LR: 94.7 %

I have a work experience of 18 months in a software company. Pretty good Acads and extra curricullar activities.

Kindly suggest whether a call from the XIMB is possible or not.

Please note i am not an orissa domicile.
