Hi priyankar....The basic areas covered by the xat are VA,DI and QA...One needs to be sufficiently proficient in all these areas to get a call from XIMB. So , You'll basically need to work at all these. However , the decision on what section you need to work on more , is entirely up to you as only you know which areas you are strong at and which areas you are weak in.I suggest you go through the XAT 2008 thread given below to learn a bit more on how to tackle the XAT.

hi guys i ve applied for XAT 2008 and i am quite interested in XIMB. do i need 2 fill up the XIMB admission form separately??plzz help me out...and i really dont understand then what this XAT form is meant for.......do i have to fill up the forms of all the colleges i am interested in separately in addition to XAT??

Manoj, XAT is just the examination and you need to fill up separate forms for individual B-Schools where you wish to apply.

For applying to XIMB, visit XAVIER INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT - BHUBANESWAR and fill in the online form

Hi,
Can u please tell me how to edit XIMB registration details. While submitting the online application, the server was down and my father's name was not updated when i downloaded PA form.

I am not able to find the link. Someone please update me.

Visit the following link and try downloading the PA Form again:

If you find that the detail has not yet been updated then send a mail to admisn@ximb.ac.in

guys plz help me....i m applying for XAT but i m having a lotta difficulties filling up the form as they have not at all given the details regaring fillin up the form. i tried calling up the toll free number bt its not working i guess. i also tried the number of the BBSR office given in the website but they are not picking up the phone.
i m havin problem particularly in the educational details part.....i m still in the final yr of B Com...so wht i gotta write..i mean type..in the percentage/CGPA column..i ve attached a web page(zipped) plzzz someone rectify it........
