Hi friends,

Even i called up at the iisc. they have told me that thay have not received confirmations from mainlisted students regarding the cancelletion...and so there in no waitlist movement.

i don't think it is negligence on the part of management.. they wait for the withrawals which is very much a logical thing...

so all the guys who have decided to leave iisc plz inform the authorities asap so that the waitlist can move ahead.

That's fine that they must wait for the confirmation from candidates.. but isn't their must be some deadline for accepting the confirmation..

Just saying blankly "try next week" is a sign of traditional sarkari processes... I think better have some deadline so that we also can plan accordingly and confirm the acceptance of offers to other institutes...

On payment they had the deadline and almost all seats are now blocked....well having deadline on withdrawals i don't know how feasible it is

Also if picture becomes clear very late say on commencements of classes then obviously they won't activete any waitlist...

That is what had happened over the years : The seats were blocked and ony on commencements of classes insti gets to know of vacant seats...

Hey Guys,

It seems everybody is either Dead/not joining IISc.

I am very disappointed to see no response to My community on Orkut for IISc.

It seems all the guys have blocked their seats and now they are not joining IISc.

Please guys, if you are not joining IISc then atleast vacate the seat for others as I don't want to be the only person joining IISc this year.


And if you are joining IISc this year then lets start some fire in this thread and Orkut community.

I had sent an application to cancel my seat around a month back......today i confirmed the cancellation on phone too.......

Hey all,
I will not be taking up my seat at IISc. I had sent a mail confirming the same by april 15th. I have not got a response frm them yet. I have also confirmed it over the phone. They had said tht they will refund the fees only after the classes commence

Hi Puys,

2nd list from iisc is out.. waitlist till 10 has cleared..for more info u can call up 08022932210... congrats to all who made it... i m on waitlist 11 so messed it up again ... and fate hangs on the 2nd list rejections..
selected puys in case u r not joinin do let the authorities know at the earliest also it wud be great if u can mention the same here in the forum so that all remaining waitlisted puys like myself can keep a track...
