4. What about JMET SCORE CARD ?
Please clarify my these doubts and expediate me in filling IISC's form.
Thanx in advance | Hi,
Here are the answers to your queries:
1)SSLC - 10th and PU - 12th.
2)Yes, a letter signed by your HR.
3)10th - graduation all marksheets photocopy, your WorkEx proof, photocopy of JMET Admit Card and/or** JMET scorecard, your application and a DD for Rs.500/-. Attestation reqd.
4)Only IIT-Kgp(which was the organising insti for JMET) has the authority/responsibility to send JMET scorecard. So if u dint get it, just chk with IIT-Kgp ppl.
** If u dint receive Scorecard in time, u can take a print out of scorecard available in the website and send it along with the appln form. I think that would suffice since u are also sending the aadmit card along with it. | | | | | | | |

It doesnt matter which is the highest/lowest JMET rank in our batch or prev batches. Its the performance of the candidate in front of the prof here that will get you a seat here. A guy with the highest rank(Top 10) was given a reject while one who was the last rank to be called got converted. So its how you present that yields positive results.
Weightage given to rank is pretty much subjective. That is seen as above. But for GD/PI you have to get a rank atleast < 1200. Then this too is like depends upon no of applicants and their profile. So do your best in your application and hope for the best. | | | | | | | |

Dear Seniors,
I had a query...
In the application form, we are asked to "List Main & Specialization subjects" as well as
"Specify maximum GPA also".
I have a work exp of 2.5 years in "IT field" but i did my engineering in "Electrical" field. I've almost forgotten subjects studied during my graduation.
Are interviewers going to ask questions on electrical based on the subjects mentioned over here....Please suggest what subject i should mention....
Secondly, What is meant by "Specify maximum GPA also" ???
One more thing, I've to submit the work-exp letter by my current employer duly signed by HR...but it will be difficult getting it as this point of time as i will have to tell the reason before getting the letter...
Is it okie if i send a copy of my offer letter as well as the current salary slip...
Please reply ASAP....
Thanks | | | | | | | |

I wish to know that where's the link for online application:
The official IIS website says ( http://mgmt.iisc.ernet.in/admission.html):
----------------------------
Candidates applying for admission to the programme will have BE/B.Tech or Equivalent in any branch of engineering with at least Second Class and a valid JMET Score.
Application Fees for offline : Rs 800/- (400/- incase of SC/ST)
Application Fees for online : Rs 700/- (300/- incase of SC/ST
---------------------
I am wondering that the website says you can apply online, but hasn't provided a link to it. Will seniors please clarify it? | | | | | | | |
