Hi !! to all siib 2008-2010 aspirants.
You can shoot ur all queries....
From previous posts, I have realized that most of the aspirants are interested in knowing 'Is there any spl cut off for any particular section in snap for SIIB'
The answer is 'may be' but plzz take care of following issues... these will help u..
1. try getting some minimum marks in all 4 sections (non-negative and non zero precisely speaking)
2. maximise your score in ur area say, verbal or reasoning or quant etc..
3. Try to maximize ur score in Analytical part as it will double your score(provided you are good at logic..)
4.Last year when i took the admission, SIIB's snap cut off was 76 around
5. SIIB gives certain credits to Engineers,ICWA,CA etc..
6. Strong academic background(10th,12th,grad all consistent) does help you in scoring some credit points
7.SIIB does give some credit points to ppl having work ex. more than 1 year (last year statistics)
8. for furthur information, plzz logon to siib.ac.in

I am sure the SNAP does not announce any ranking for its college. SIIB on its part has a lot of things going for it. Check the placements details of the Class of 2007 in a post above yours. Also go through Life@SIIB thread...u will get a lot of information abt the college...cheers !!

As far as i knw...SIBM gives out calls based on the SNAP scores only....please get it clarified on the SIBM thread as well. At SIIB, we hav assigned different weightages to SNAP score, acad performance/background and work ex. Its difficult to say per se if "x" amount of work experience. So look to maximise your SNAP score and i am sure things wud wrk out well for u...ATB !!

Hi guys!
Since I saw you guys discussing your profiles, I would like to get an opinions from the Seniors studying in SYMBIOSYS or other experienced puys.
Acads:
X th : 91.86
XII th:89.33
Grad : 67.80
Work Exp: 35 Months(till present,would be 40 Months in Feb 08 )
Approximately, How much score would I require to get either into SIBM, SCMHRD or SIIB? Plz Post an opinion.
Thank you in advance!
Vikram.
