and tiss keeps changing its pattern every year. last year they didnot have essay. earlier they used to have. so, things will be clear only tomorrow 6o clock.

:confused:Hey!! Could anyone please tell me, how many people take the TISS entrance in general? Since there are only 80 seats, i'd like to calculate my odds of getting in..

Is it true that the fees for the entire course is 80k?

Is the Test tougher than CAT? Do they emphasize more on VA than anything else?

Are there sectional cut offs? (yeah i know i sound dumb, probably because i Am dumb!!

I hope someone here can help me out!

from the format of the announcement i guessed that ther wld be a common entrance exam for all the courses...just like snap.. wat d u think..?

and if that is true.. then the nature of the exam especially the GK section wld change drastically.:neutral: it wont be HR specific anymore....

Can anyone help me understanding differnce between course Master of Arts in Globalisation and Labour and Master of Arts in Human Resources Management and Labour Relations . What is the crucial differntiator between these two courses. Is there any differnce in avg salary between these two courses. I checked TISS website and it had information on only Master of Arts in Human Resources Management and Labour Relations and not Master of Arts in Globalisation and Labour.

well the MA in GLobalisation and labour is a new course just started this year.
and MA in Human resources management and labour relations is since 1967.
(till 2006 it was known as PMIR- personnel management and industry relations )
