Prohibition
A writ of prohibition is an extraordinary writ sought in a Court of Appeal, usually requesting a ruling from the Appellate Court that a lower court be prohibited from undertaking further action on a cause pending before it. The two main grounds in seeking a writ of prohibition are:

Quo Warranto
: The writ of quo warranto enables enquiry into the legality of the claim which a person asserts, to an office or franchise and to oust him from such position if he is an usurper. The holder of the office has to show to the court under what authority he holds the office. It is issued when: i) the office is of public and of a substantive nature; ii) created by statute or by the Constitution itself, and iii) the respondent has asserted his claim to the office. It can be issued even though he has not assumed the charge of the office.

Hey,

great to know that... I still haven't got the mail...I called up the institute today and found out that in case i still do not get it by the date of the exam I should take:

1. a print out of the page in the pdf document (in my case MUMBAI-0810.pdf) that has my name
2. 2 additional photographs
3. A Photo ID Card - will take my Driving Lic.

The person on the other side was very helpful, he said that chances are I would get it by then, else they would use the above to make a new one for me... And how goes everyone's preparation, I am wondering as to what I can do for the Globalisation and Labour Program...
