in fact log on to Human Capital August 2007 and check it out....I initially ordered a free copy and later subscribed to it....have you taken XAT before?....in fact this is the first time wherein I would be appearing for all the entrance exams....so a TOTAL NEWBIE

yes I did appear for XAT in past........and all I can say is that XAT has become a tricky exam these days.....
- it has relatively tough questions (comparable to CAT)
- it has negative marks which increases in vaue, after, you have made 5+ mistakes in a sec
- it has an essay section
- you can't get an exact XAT paper, because they dont allow you to take back the paper.
- and some other factors.

It needs some special effort to crack XAT. but I have seen some most un-expectd people cracking XAT......so you can get a feel of uncertainty here.

Just keep preparing........thats all I can say.

I just want to Know about the profile People get in The placements at TISS and is there any special profile for IT Background people...

Secondly ,the most controversial question though,Type of Companies coming at Campus and salary packages offered at TISS....


I heard The whole procedure(EXAM+GD+PI) takes place at TISS Campus AM i right ?

Should we have to Fly to Mumbai then......

The GD and PI takes place in the campus, and u could take a train as well

the events for the day ( unfortunately over ) are - A business plan competition sponsored by Nestle , and the assessement center

but in the afternoon , we ll gonna have a Quiz by Siddharth Basu and tomorrow a talk by Prasoon Joshi, on the 8th september we ll have the corporate events having with Ms Anu Aga being the chief guest and TV Mohan das Pai coming over..

the entry fee for the corporates in INR 1500,while for the students its INR 200.

Can you suggest any good book to prepare for the Written entrance exam for TISS.How many hrs study is required.Since I am working,devoting a lot of time won't be possible.

Regrding the wrk experience, is it neceesary to have 2 years work experice of the same company.
