Jahan tak IISc ki baat hai, maybe the fact that the decision to delay results was a pan-IIT one ...IISc gets away on pure technicality ( he he he ...) but if they are out then can we expect results sooner rather than later...

well i think the decision between IISc n all IITs was unanimous as told to us & also as per the SJMSOM site.

dunno hw IISc came out with the results. also i hope woh 10th april vali baat galat ho n results are not delayed by succha long time

somebody ought to call up IIT-B. They must have decided the result. All they r waiting for is the results of other IITs...

10th is too much....results shall be out before it for IIT B....but certainly not before 7th

Call vaigeraah mat karo bhai...mid term exams chal rahe hai...all we are waiting for is 6th April to get over...

In short.....no committment on precise date of results but they will not be out before 7th....

but remember....we never said/promised that explicitly.....

Jokes apart, IIT B will try to declare the results at the earliest...
We have gone through a loooong wait last time because of delay due to reservation issue...
So we know how stressful the delay can be from aspirants perspective...
Obviously we don't want it happen to our juniors....

The thing that goes in favour of IIT B is its placements and very less fees
The only thing that stops me doing this is that many ratings rate MDI better than IIT B

But somehow my gut felling is that these ratings underate IIT B

Can u help me make a informed decision

Wud i be missing the brand MDI if i do so.

Thats wat we call oppurtunity cost . U miss out on something if u pick up something else.
Of course, even I feel that SJMSOM is quite underrated in ratings but that can be accounted to the fact that it takes mostly engineers and hence isnt widely known to most poll takers outside the engineering world...
Just as u hv mentioned abt fees and placements, i wd also like to point out that SJMSOM is also a gud place if u aspire to be an entrepreneur... plus the IIT atmosphere and n/w shd b added advantages for anyone studying in SJMSOM.
I am nt in a position to comment for/against MDI so i can just present one side of the story ...that too my version..
Bottomline is that its ur personal decision and plzz dont base it on some B-school ratings... (atleast I wont!!!)

I feel SJMSOM is one of the most underrated school look at the faculty,Infrasturture,Placements,teaching methodology(Case study) ,peer group (mostly expd ppl)and most importantly industry interaction.Its simply awesome
If school market itself properly among students its rating will be in top 6-7 in india.As a matter of fact the they are marketing it very well in industry.
