hey guys how much weightage is being given to ex-curriculars this year...especially the form we filled up before the GD/PI process.
since i didnt have all the certificates at that time and hence couldnot fill up the form with the same.
Although i did mention this in the interview and talked about my ex-curriculars there.:sad:

This query has been answered many times, ex-currics does have some weightage , but its never a deal breaker or maker, anyways now as the process is done just relax and wait for the results..

Any updates on the results or still the same status.

Sorry to ping again, but after NITIE reject, couldn't resist to ask again.

Not finding any motivation to be eager for the results after the reject after a nice GD and PI with great CAT score ( 99.37).

Do u have any updates as to what will be different weightages given for the IIT Mumbai results?

when iit's hv decided not to declare reults before 7th april then there are hardly ane chances that it will be so. and tol tell u its a very nice thing. because iit-delhi interviews get over on 30th march.if there is a fixed date aftr wich results r declared most of us will b saved from a dilemma onwhich iit to join.also since most other results will b out by then it'll make our task all the more easy. even though u can get ur fees refunded but delay of results has made all the hassle improbable for most of the candidates.

Finally something going on this thread.. went real cold after the delay in results... yaar they wont release the results b4 7th April but they havent said they'll do it on 7th.. any news on an exact date ???

weightages are not known but as in most colleges interview should be the most important one followed by GD/work-ex/extra-currics/academics taking a portion each in the pie..

regarding results, there can hardly be any update as we all are waiting for 7th April to come before which it's "unholy" to talk about results

if we get a go-ahead for 7th, results should be out the same day as there is not much work left to be done from our side.. all the best :-)

well long time since smbody posted here. we all are truely waiting for 7th april to arrive like well behaved kids

the IIT B site still says:

"M.Mgmt results to be declared on or after 7th April As all IITs & IISc have decided not to declare the results before 7th April, SJMSOM results for Master of Management (2008-10) will not bedeclared before 7th April 2008. Inconvenience caused due to change in result date is regretted."


however to my surprise, i saw a thread on PG titled: [2008] IISc Bangalore final calls issued.

There are two posts which say:

I also wanted to enquire abt the results, now since IIT D is also done with their process.. Are all IITs done ???
I talked to seniors in Delhi and they said ki after 7th april bola hai means it'll b out by 10th april only:icon_frown:... can someone put all speculation to rest...

Jahan tak IISc ki baat hai, maybe the fact that the decision to delay results was a pan-IIT one ...IISc gets away on pure technicality ( he he he ...) but if they are out then can we expect results sooner rather than later...
