Hello everybody,
This is Jubin Mehta from MFC (Part I), as a fresher to the mfc community i will provide all the info u need regarding the department, yes thatz what it is called not a school.
And the basic things, Is that for those willing to pursue finance ,this is the place to be in the NCR region.
The Cost benefit ratio is the thing to watch out bcz the fee is just Rs. 12000 p.a. and the hostel is inside the campus for both girls and boys.Even the Hostel fee is just Rs.2200 p.m with a wifi hostel and wifi department, its the place to be.
Now the important thing, the placements, this year in the batch size of 30, the avg.package was Rs. 6.75 lakh p.a.the rest is ur calculation.

hiii.. can u tell me.. wht's the exam pattern.. hw many seats for general candidates.. are ther any sectional cut-offs.. exam date.. test duration.. expected cut-offs.. negative marking..

i think i hv asked too many questions.. but anxiety..plz answer...

My frnd,
We have 23 seats out of 30 for general category.It's a normal 4 section with
Quant, V.A.,D.I and G.k with 200-225 questions.Its a 2 hour Exam with more emphasis on aggregate score rather than sections coz the cut off is pretty high in terms of total score ranging from 140-170 as the exam last year was easier than before.The negative marking is 0.25 and as the exam is easy so qualifying for g.d is easy as g.d and interviews are the real test of ur knowledge and personality.

You can have the name of the thread changed to MFC- 2009, because there is a thread on MFC already running. Or else, continue on the old thread, which has all the info required by aspirants.

good job zubin... !!! it was just a few months back that all of us were eagerly awaiting the results to be out... keen on being associated wid MFC...and here we are... here on ill also try and take up some of the queries as and when they are posted!!!

Hi guys
can anyone present here please tell me what is the exact procedure for selection into MFC. Are there sectional cutoffs or only the overall score is considered for selection.
Also is there a GD/PI after written or none as is the case with MHROD/MIB of DU.
Pls clarify

Every b-school has a GD/PI or PI at the least, whose told you MIB does not have GD/PI?

Hi Pal,

I want to know,At present how many MBA programmes under DU exist?

What is the selection procedure for them, please exclude MFC and FMS?
