What is the profile of guys who usually make it to IRMA. I know its a vague question, but i wanted to know if they look too much at the acad's or just our aptitude in the rural management field is enough. What's the weightage for acad's and work-ex in the selection process. Is it compulsory for us to have some links to any rural activities or to have some experience in that field or would the interview be enough to establish our aptitude.

THis means that are you hoping to get Quota for yourself in the near future or in other words are you in negotation with The esteemed govt of India for a Quota in IRMA....(tel us before hand so that we can make provisions for you...)

What does this actually mean?
IRMA has a good mix of participants with work ex and no work ex.....(70%-30%).
participants having work ex in IT companies like infy,wipro to guys having work ex in NGOS like pradan and even banks,itc etc mak the whole batch dynamic in itself......and well offcourse the freshers too add to the charisma of the batch as a whole....
and regarding selection process IRMA 's interview is the toughest part.....u hav to b genuine and thats the only thing they look forward......

to make it clear IRMA is an autonomous institute.....ie it has no government of india contrl over it.....but govt of india plus lot of organisations sponsor IRMA in terms of support,finance etc......
IRMA has its own admission process which is purely merit based .......hopre this clears everbodies doubt
